Abstract: The project design, saline power banks, aims to innovate an cost effective, portable

and easy-to-use type of charger that will be useful in all aspects of our daily lives, may that be in

our homes, offices and or outdoor activities.

Today, nearly everyone uses microelectronics-based devices (smart phones, mp3

players, etc.) which consume less than 5 watts of power. With the massive amount of email

checking, texting, mobile gaming and internet surfing everyone does, each of these devices

requires frequent recharging, thus, a reliable portable charger has become essential to avoid that

inevitable dead battery. Such electronic devices typically utilize a cable for connecting the device

to a power source, such as a wall outlet, a car charger, an airplane charger, or a computer.

Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, going camping or simply out of the

house all day, you will probably need something that is not too heavy and has enough juice to

power your electronic devices.
