Requirements for the issuance of clearance for a permit to cut are the following: letter request, local

government unit clearance, inventory of tree requested to be cut with global positioning system (GPS)
reading per tree, stand stock table, copy of land title or tax declaration, geotagged pictures, sketch plan,
and tree chart.

Requirements:

 Letter application

 LGU Endorsement/Certification of No Objection (Municipality and Barangay)

 Copy of Land Title (OCT/TCT) for Private Property

 Photographs of trees to be removed

 Site Development Plan and ECC for big projects

Procedures:

 Submit application letter addressed to the CENRO with the required documents (see
previous tab). The request order will then be assigned an Inspection Officer to conduct
inventory/inspection
 Receive Payment Order
 Pay inventory fee (P1,200/hectare) for planted and naturally growing trees but no
payment required for less than 20 trees or if inventory will be conducted by the customer
o If Inventory undertaken by customer:
 Timber
 Inventory/Inspection Report with Tally Sheet/Stand and Stock
Table, and Pictures
 Tree Charting Map
 Receive tree cutting permit
Private Land Timber Permit a permit issued to a landowner for the cutting, gathering and
utilization of naturally grown trees in private lands. (DENR Administrative Order No. 2000-21)

Requirements:

 Letter application of landowner;


 Authenticated copy of land title/CLOA with approved sketch map of area applied for;
 Development plan, if application covers ten (10) hectares or larger with at least 50% of
the area covered with forest trees;
 Endorsement from any of the following LGU officials: a) Barangay Chairman,
b)Municipal/City Mayor, or c) Provincial Governor concerned;
 Endorsement by Local Agrarian Reform Officer for areas covered by CLOA;
 Inventory based on existing regulations;
 Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) as basis in issuance; and
 Certification from the CENRO concerned that the land subject of PLTP/SPLTP application
is within a certified A and D land.

Application for Tree Cutting Permit

Requirements

1. Duly accomplished Application Form


2. Authenticated Copy of Ownership to the Land
3. Inventory fee based on DAO 2004-16
4. Harvesting Development Plan
5. Endorsement from any of the following Local Government Unit Officials
a. Barangay Captain
b. Municipal/City Mayor
c. Provincial Governor
6. Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) as a basis for the Environmental Compliance Certificate
(ECC)

Application for Special Tree Cutting Permit

Requirements

1. Filled-out Online Application Form or Letter of Application


2. Authenticated copy of ownership to the Land (for private land)
3. Inventory fee based on DAO 2004-16
4. Harvesting Development Plan, if the application covers = (10) hectares with at least 50% of the
area covered with forest trees
5. Endorsement from any of the following Local Government Unit Officials
6. Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) as a basis for the Environmental Compliance Certificate
(ECC)

Application for Special Private Land Timber Permit

3. Endorsement by Local Agrarian Reform Officer, for areas covered by Certificate of Land Ownership
Award (CLOA)
4. Inventory fee based on DAO 2004-16

1. Harvesting Development Plan, if the application covers = (10) hectares with at least 50% of the
area covered with forest trees
2. Endorsement from any of the following Local Government Unit Officials

Application for Permit to Sell/Re-sell/Dispose/Distribute/Transfer of


Ownership of Chainsaw

Requirements

1. Duly accomplished application form containing the following details:

3. Business Name Registration of Applicant from DTI, or in case of individual transactions, this
requirement may be dispensed with

Application for Permit to Purchase Chainsaw

Requirements

3. If applicant is individual, Affidavit that he/she will use the chainsaw for legal purposes only (e.g.
tree pruning, tree surgery, landscaping, timber stand improvement, and other allied silvicultural
activities)
4. Copy of Purchase orders, if imported

Requirements

Original/New Application

Holder of a subsisting Tenurial Instrument such as Timber License Agreement, Production Sharing
Agreement, Co-production Sharing Agreement, or a Private Land Timber Permit/Special Private Land
Timber Permit, CBFMA, IFMA, SIFMA, or other similar Tenurial instruments:
