mother: Shiva- shiva why do you give away everything to the sanyasis.
Vivek : Because they have nothing maa, One day I will be a sanyasi.

A conversation with Surendra Nath :

Vivek: have you seen God?
surendra nath Mithra: Naren, I know someone who can answer. Shree Ramakrishna of
Dhakshanesha. He will be giving a discourse at my house tomorrow.

A conversation with Shree Ramakrishna of Dhakshanesha :

Shree Ramakrishna : Ah, you have come at last. Why did you keep me waiting so long?
vivek: I am Vishwanath Datta.
Shree Ramakrishna: I know you. You are Narayana who came down to help humanity.

A conversation with Shree Ramakrishna upon returning to Dhakshanesha :

Vivek: Sir, have you seen God.
Shree Ramakrishna : Of course. I see him more clearly and easy. You can also see him.
Vivek : tell me something, does your mother Kaali give you everything you ask for. I want
money for my family.
Shree Ramakrishna : Yes everything. if u want something, just go up and ask her.
Vivek : mother,I seek true knowledge.(talking to Mother Kaali)
Shree Ramakrishna : Did you see my mother? How much money you asked for?
Vivek : Mother, may I be devoted to you, I do not want money. You know what I want.

On death bed of Shree Ramakrishna :

Shree Ramakrishna : Why do you look so sad? Don’t you know this what mother wants. My
time has come. Naren, I will give you all that I have.
