Google Participant Release

Google Inc., located at 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043, for itself and its subsidiaries, affiliates and
agents (“Google”), requests that you (“You”, “I” or “My”) give your consent that You and your child (“Your Child” or “My Child”)
provide voice samples and other information (collectively “Feedback”) to Google to help Google develop and improve its speech
recognition technologies and other products and services (“the Purpose”). Your and Your Child’s participation in this study is wholly
voluntary. You may withdraw Your consent at any time, as described below.

PURPOSE

The purpose of this study is to help Google understand a wide variety of speech patterns and improve Google’s ability to recognize
what its users are saying when they interact with Google products and services. Data collected for purposes of this study will be used
to research and develop speech recognition technologies and other Google products and services that utilize voice recognition.

PROCEDURE

In the course of Your and Your Child’s participation in the study, You and Your Child will be asked to read aloud various words and
phrases and submit the resulting voice recordings to Google via the WebHound application. You and Your Child may also be asked to
provide comments, feedback, reports, suggestions, data or other information. The initial collection generally requires no more than
thirty minutes to complete.

LICENSE

You grant to Google on Your own behalf and on behalf of Your Child a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive right and
license (a) to, and to permit others to, store, copy and otherwise use the Feedback in perpetuity in connection with the Purpose; and (b)
to any copyrights, rights of publicity, and any other legal rights necessary in order for Google and others to use the Feedback as
permitted by this release. You specifically waive and release any potential intellectual property, right of publicity or right of privacy
claim against Google or others for using or sharing the Feedback. This licence is without prejudice to Google’s obligations under
applicable data protection laws not to retain personally identifiable longer than is necessary for the Purposes and Your ability to
withdraw Your and/or Your Child’s participation from this study at any time, as described below.

POTENTIAL RISKS AND BENEFITS

We are not aware of any significant physical or psychological risks or benefits related to participation in this study.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Any information provided to You and/or Your Child by Google and any information You and/or Your Child provide in association
with or in relation to this study will be considered confidential (the “Confidential Information”), and the following terms will apply:
(a) each party may use Confidential Information only for the Purpose; (b) the receiving party will use a reasonable degree of care to
protect Confidential Information and to prevent any unauthorized use or disclosure of Confidential Information; and (c) You and/or
Your Child may not share the Confidential Information with any third party in any manner. Additionally, You and/or Your Child may
not record any portion of the study.

Confidential information does not include information that (a) was known to the receiving party without restriction before receipt from
the disclosing party; (b) is publicly available through no fault of the receiving party; (c) is rightfully received by the receiving party
from a third party without a duty of confidentiality; (d) is independently developed by the receiving party. A party may disclose
Confidential Information when compelled to do so by law if it provides reasonable prior notice to the other party. The foregoing does
not override Google’s obligations with respect to your personally identifiable information, contained in this Release.

This agreement imposes no obligation on Google to use Your and/or Your Child’s Feedback. Neither party acquires any intellectual
property rights under this agreement except the express and implied, limited rights acquired by Google to use the Feedback for the
Purpose.

Data Protection

Google will not disclose any personally identifiable data to third parties other than as set out in this Release, without Your additional
consent. You agree that Google may process any personally identifiable data collected by Google during the study relating to You or
Your Child for the Purpose, as outlined above. For further information on how Google handles personally identifiable information,
please see the Google’s general privacy policy (available at http://www.google.com/privacy.html). Google processes personally
identifiable data on servers in many countries around the world. You confirm that you are the legal guardian of Your Child and full
authorisations and consents necessary to provide the permissions outlined in this document. If you have any questions regarding use
of Your or Your Child’s data, please contact Lionbridge at language.research.tre.minors@lionbridge.com.

PARTICIPATION AND WITHDRAWAL

As stated above, You and/or Your Child may withdraw Your consent at any time. If You and/or Your Child have any questions with
regard to the study or if You wish to withdraw and have your information deleted from the study data please send an email to
language.research.tre.minors@lionbridge.com.

RELEASE AND WAIVER OF CLAIMS

ON YOUR OWN BEHALF AND ON BEHALF OF YOUR CHILD, YOU AGREE TO DISCHARGE GOOGLE AND ITS
AGENTS, OFFICIALS, EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AFFILIATES OF AND FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS,
DEMANDS, CAUSES OF ACTION, OR DAMAGES AND LIABILITIES OF EVERY KIND AND NATURE IN LAW OR
EQUITY, THAT YOU AND/OR YOUR CHILD HAD OR MAY HAVE, ARISING FROM OR IN ANY WAY RELATED TO
YOUR AND/OR YOUR CHILD’S PARTICIPATION IN THIS STUDY, PROVIDED THAT THIS WAIVER OF LIABILITY
DOES NOT APPLY TO ANY ACTS BY GOOGLE OR ITS AGENTS OF GROSS NEGLIGENCE, OR INTENTIONAL,
WILLFUL OR WANTON MISCONDUCT.

GENERAL

This agreement does not create any agency, partnership, or joint venture between the parties.

Neither party may assign any part of this Agreement without the written consent of the other.

This agreement states all terms agreed between the parties and supersedes all other agreements between the parties relating to its
subject matter.

Any amendment must be in writing, signed by both parties, and expressly state that it is amending this agreement.

Neither party will be treated as having waived any rights by not exercising (or delaying the exercise of) any rights under this
agreement.

If any term (or part of a term) of this agreement is invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the rest of the agreement will remain in effect.

ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR THE STUDY WILL BE GOVERNED BY
CALIFORNIA LAW, EXCLUDING CALIFORNIA'S CONFLICT OF LAWS RULES, AND WILL BE LITIGATED
EXCLUSIVELY IN THE FEDERAL OR STATE COURTS OF SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, USA; THE PARTIES
CONSENT TO PERSONAL JURISDICTION IN THOSE COURTS.

I represent that I am the parent or legal guardian of My Child listed below, and have full power and authority to authorize this release,
including without limitation the power and authority to grant all rights and licenses related to My Child’s participation and the
Feedback. I understand the procedures described above. My questions have been answered to my satisfaction, and I agree to allow My
Child to participate in this study as described herein. I understand and consent that as part of the study, My and My Child’s voice will
be recorded as well as our interactions with the application.
