Pray for one another, that you may be healed. James 5:16

Holy Family has enlisted Prayer Ministers to pray with people once a month for anything that may be troubling
or challenging in their lives. We are available to pray with you after the Saturday 4:30 am Mass & Sunday10:30
am Mass, every third Sunday of the month, in the gathering space. We will discreetly gather with you, ask you
what you would like us to pray for, and then begin to pray. If anyone feels the need to go to a more private
area, we will gladly accommodate you.
The apostle Paul encourages us to intercede for each other: “With all
prayer and supplication, pray at every opportunity in the
Spirit” (Ephesians 6:18). Paul also teaches us to “pray without
ceasing” ( 1 Thessalonians 5:16).
I am hoping that the beautiful experience of praying with our fellow
parishioners will expand to all Masses with Prayer Ministers at each
one every week! If you feel the Holy Spirit calling you to pray for
others, do not ignore him. Pray over it. Pray with US over it.
Anyone interested in Prayer Ministry should call or email Herb James
at:
herbandkrisjames@yahoo.com / 248 982-3320
God bless you, Herb James

2nd Sunday in Ordinary Time

“To each individual the manifestation of the Spirit is giv-
en for some benefit.” (1 Corinthians 12:7)
St. Paul tells us that God has blessed each of us for a
reason. How has God blessed you? Are you using your
gifts according to God’s plan? How are you helping to
build God’s kingdom here on earth? Remember that if
you don’t do the work God planned for you, no one
else can do it. Live the life God has intended for you,
feel His love, peace and joy!

the power of the one Trinitarian God. These blessings or call: 734-459-9595
are bestowed for the good of the common Corinthian
community. In St. John’s Gospel, Jesus, at His Mother
Mary’s encouragement, miraculously changes water
into wine at the wedding feast at Cana, manifesting His
glory and power. As Christian stewards, we
acknowledge that all blessings arise from God’s tre-
mendous love for us. In heartfelt gratitude, let us use
our gifts in prayer, service, and generosity to spread the
Good News of salvation. Every parish has an unlimited
need for parishioners to help at the food pantry, read
at Mass, serve on the Evangelization or Stewardship
Commission, or volunteer in the school or faith for-
mation program. Can your family offer a few hours a
week in service to the Lord?

CSA Minute – Update as of Dec 31st

We have done well with this year’s campaign. As of
December 31st we have $168,830 pledged against our
target of $159,671. And the good news is that more
pledges are still coming in. This means we have added
$9,159 to our Restroom Update Fund, when all of the
pledges are paid in full by the end of May.

At this point, all pledges and payments will be rebated

100% to the parish with no assessment charged.
