Call Forwarding:
This service allow you to transfer your call to any number
with three available modes
On No reply:
In this case there is no reply; the call will be transferred
automatically to another predefined desired number.
On Busy:
In this case the customer number is busy; the incoming
call will be transferred automatically to another
predefined specified number.
Code Barring:
With the help of a code barring customers can prevent
misuse of their telephone. This code can be changed by
the customer if the need arises. Contact 1236 helpline
for activation and to get the specific from the CSR. Once
activated, the service can be handled through this code
from the telephone set.
Wake up Call:
Ringing of a Customer’s telephone is initiated
automatically at the fixed time. Contact 1236 helpline for
detail and subscription.
Call Waiting:
This service allow you to put a call on hold while you are
already busy with another party. Contact 1236 helpline
for activation. Once activated, the service can be handled
through a code from the telephone set.
Do not Disturb:
There is time when you do not want to be disturbed, be
in peace of mind using PTCL Do not Disturb service.
Activating this facility will stop all incoming calls for a pre-
determined time slot. This will allow customers to be in
peace if he does not want to be disturbed during such
time. The caller will get a pre-recorded message. Contact
1236 helpline for activation. Once activated, the service
can be handled through a code from the telephone set.
Abbreviated Dialing:
Remember short codes instead of numbers with prefixes
.Dial a short number (single digit) to get the desired
number to be dialed. A maximum of 10 such numbers
can be registered. Contact 1236 helpline for activation.

Absent Customer
A customer with this facility may inform the calling
person about his non availability. This calling person will
get an announcement or a special tone.
Time Check
Customer can check Pakistan Standard Time by dialing
1214.
