Scramble Intersections
Pedestrian scrambles allow pedestrians to cross
the intersection in all directions at once, including
diagonally. Traffic has red lights in all directions to
eliminate conflicts. Five scrambles intersections
were installed at intersections on Jasper Avenue,
Whyte Avenue, and around the Ice District.

Vision Zero uses evidence-based data to set priorities and deploys
