This movie clip, Notre Dame High School locks up cell phones during school day, was
posted on Clip Syndicate in 2018. This clips says that there are ways to keep student off their cell
phones during the day. There are special devices you can put your phone into. Students can lock
the devices at the beginning of the day and unlock them at the end of the day. The purpose of this
video is to show that cell phones do not always have to be a distraction. Also with no cell
phones, students talk more in person. This video is creditale because it is on a news cast. There is
also interviews of students and a principal. This will help my research paper because I can
examples of ways to decrease the usage of cell phones in schools.

allowing phones in school. This article lists many pros and cons of having cellphones in school.
The purpose of this article is to inform teacher, students, and parents the pros and cons of cell
phone usage in schools. The article also talks about parents who have sued cities because of a
cell phone ban in school. The author shows her credibility by having the article updated. Also
there are links and videos in the article that prove the information is correct. This article will
help my research paper because it has many pros and cons of cell phone usage. I can use this
article for both sides of my research topic.

principal. The teacher says that instead of trying to get rid of cell phones, teachers should
include them in the classroom. When trying to make sure kids don't use them, kids will go
against what you say and be more likely to use them. The principal says students are using the
bathroom or hall time to be on their phones, then they miss class. Also there are rules and
warning with cell phones. She also states that students should not be playing on phones when
half the school isn’t of grade level. This article is credible because it is an interview of people
who deal with cell phones in class most days. The article also states when it aired and has related
articles. This article with help my research paper because it has great information of real life
issues. It states what these people have dealt with in the classroom because of cell phones.

students how to be present in the real world. The article says that will cell phones always around
there could be a problem of cyberbullying. With the ban students can bring their phones to
school but they must be put away throughout the day. This article is credible because it uses
interviews from students who have already had a ban of cell phones at their school. It also has
information to contact the authors. There are also other article listed related to this one. I think
this article will help my research paper because it gives me an idea of how students are in school
with a ban on cell phones. It also gives me information about how students feel without their
phones.

around and people are always on them. Because of this, they are missing out on important
information. This article is credible. It was many links to sources, or studies used. This proves
the information is correct. The author is very credible, she is a Educational and Developmental
Psychologist. This article will help my research paper. It gives me good information about how
students behavior and performance is different with and without cell phones in class.
