outloveandcomfort.Foodisonethingthatcanbringpeopletogetherintimesofnee

outs.Foodiseverywhere,inrestaurants,fields,houses,mountains,oceans,andmo

stespeciallyinstreets.

PeopleindifferentplacesinthePhilippinesoftenlyeatstreetfoodsmostes

peciallyinManilaforitisconvenienttoeatplusyoucansavemoneyeasily,that’swh

ymanyFilipinoslovetoeatthiskindoffood.Wheninahurry,itismoreaccessiblebe

causeyoucaneatitwhilewalkingorifyouwanttogoleisurewalkingwhileeating.It

isindeedtheappropriatefoodthatmusteat.

Withthat,wecameuptoanideaofwhynotsellastreetfoodproductsinceitis

indemandatthemarket.Butmostofthetime,whentheyheartheword“streetfood”,t

hefirstthingthatcomesintotheirmindisthatitisnotsafe,notwell-

served,ordoesn’thavenutrients.However,wethinkaboutaconceptthatishealthyf

orthecustomer,thateventhoughitwillbecalledastreetfood,youcanstillbenefitbe

causeofitsonemainingredientwhichispotato,butyouwillnotnoticethatitisthere

becauseofitsotheringredientsthatmakeitmoredelicious.Andtheproductwillbec

alled“Maegtoeskick”whichissupposedlyMojosbutinsteadofmakingitMojos,w
ewillcookitindifferentwayandaddmoremainingredientsthatwillmakeitfardiffe

rentfromMojos.

 Weaimtomakethemaskmoreforourproductandsatisfytheircravings

aswellassatisfyingourwantstoservethem.

A. Name of the Business

The proponents came up with Maegtoeskick, since the chosen

product is very new that is why the name of the product itself will be the

name of the business too, so the product will be known and noticed by

people more easily. It stands for mashed potatoes, egg, cheese and kikiam

because the said ingredients are the main ingredients of the product.

see andbuy our product which is favorable to the students and also for my

partner and our newly business, wherein less competitors.

Brief Description of the Project

The study is about the newly-discovered street food product. The

objective of theproponents is to make a confirmation that a new product

could also be viable in a specific place and could also be known by

everybody even in a limited market.

D. GENERAL OBJECTIVES OF THE BUSINESS

 To be able to introduce a new product discovered by the

proponents themselves.

 To make the product known by everybody in the market so

the product could be possibly known even in the outside

market.

 To have a street food product that can benefit both of the

wants of the consumers like, being healthy and easy to eat.

 To make awareness that anyone could take the risk in a

limited market just by providing a newly-discovered product

even with many competitors.


E. Research Methodology

The proponents have a product tasting before conducting the

business, so the proponents could know if the study will be viable in the

market.

F. Project Summary

The researchers continued the study regarding the selling of

maegtoeskick due to the positive comments said by the students to meet

everyone’s expectations. This study will be feasible because the target

customers are willing to buy the said product.

Maegtoeskick is a partnership type of business meaning the proponents

are entitled to suggest all the ideas that anyone wants to share. The business

will have an operational cycle, this means that the everyday duties will be

experienced by everyone since the duties will not stay on the same person

but rather everyday, the duties and tasks of the proprietors will be changed.

Having different ideas from the proponents are good because there will be

improvements that may change regarding in the proponents’ perspective.

Therefore, the business is feasible in this aspect.

The initial capital of the business is P1000.00, which came from the

shared money of the proponents. Return of investments will be on the first

day operation. Profit earned will also be on the same day. Therefore, the

study is feasible.
INTRODUCTION

Everyone likes to discover new things, new places, and new food.

Many Filipinos want to know things that are not well known to others or

discover different kinds of things or foods in different places. Everyone

likes to experiment or change the concept that everyone knows and give it

another concept, like in art, on the past years we do art by doing it

traditionally but today we use contemporary art because in contemporary

art, originality is not an issue which means you can give or add another

concept to the art that is already known. That also happens in food, people

choose to try new food and they want to taste different kinds of food like

the newly street foods, side dishes, snacks, or other types of food.

Moreover, the researchers discovered a food that can give another

concept that everyone could relate or like. This is calledmaegtoeskick which

the researchers want to offer to the school or to the students. It can be

substitute for fries, for it has the same main ingredient which is potato.

According to Best Health Magazine Canada, “Potatoes and sweet potatoes

are versatile and very healthy. Fight cancer, control your diabetes and get

stronger bones by eating these nutritious spuds.”


With this study, the proponents aim to meet the customers’ trust and

loyalty, be one of the customers’ choice regarding demands and supplies,

lastly to make the product known by people in the market.

The project was decided to have an operational cycle, which means all

the proponents are required to do all the jobs, which are the production,

sales, and marketing but there was only one proponent who will managed

the financial of the said business.

This type of business is considered as partnership, since all the

proponents have the rights to decide for the business. This means that the

proponents are free to suggest anything that could help the business to grow
in everyday transactions, otherwise some suggestions could be neglected by

other proponents that might not like the said intimation.

LOCATION OF HEAD OFFICE/ FACTORY

The location of the business is very important because the sales of

the business depend on its location. The proponents were given a place

where the business could be implemented. The place where the business

operated was in the URS Morong quadrangle. The proprietors did all the

work in the said place for one week.

BRIEF HISTORY OF THE PROJECT

The proponents came up to an idea or concept of a maegtoeskick

which was came from the idea of mojos in shakey’s, which is according to

Shakey’s Pizza, “mojos are potato slices coated in Shakey’sbreading and

special Shakey’s spices and fried into a golden brown perfection”.

At first, the proponents have decided to sell mojos but because of

failing to do the same taste of the product, the proponents thought of

another way what to sell, and maegtoesick came because of trying to make a

food which everyone will love to eat. Behind the name of the said product

stands the main ingredients used to make it. Maegtoeskick stands for,

MAshed, EGg, potaTOes, cheESe, and KICKiam, the proponents have

changed the spelling of kikiam because of the business’ tagline which is, “it

will make your feet kick on air!” due to its deliciousness.

And the proponents released the product to the school for one week

in a french fries display because of its paper tray.The proponents are also

aware of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that the

business may encounter:


Knowing all the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats will

help the proponents to evaluate if the business will be viable or not and will

also help the proponents of becoming prepared on the implementation of the

business.

erthananormalmojos.Wewillalsothinkofawayhowwillitbegoingtoeatmoreeas

ily,becausewe,millenials,onethingthatalsomakeustobuyfoodisthatit’seasytoe

atandwillnotgiveusahardtimetoremovetheexcessproductfromeatingorfindma

terialsforeatingit.AndthatproductwillbecalledMaegtoeskickforitisveryeasyto

eatplusyouwilltastealltheingredientsthatareinsideit.

ikiam,anditbecameyummierbecauseofitscheeseandeventhereispotatoandegg,

itstilldoesn’tclashinyourmouth,insteadtheyreallycomplimenttoeachother.

Wewillcreatethisproductthroughpreparingalltheingredientstogetherin

atableandafterthatwewillwashallthepotatoesordirectlypeelit,thenthenextstepi

stomashit,thenaftermashingwewillnowslicethekikiamtoaverysmallshape.Aft

erdoingthesetwo,wewillnowmixthem,togetherwithegg,andgratedcheese.The

naftermixing,addalltheneededadditivesfortheadditionaltaste,andtryshaping it

likeaballthenfry.

Thereare people

whowillsurelytrythisbecauseofitsuniquenesswhichisbeingnew

tothemarketplacethroughconsideringitsoriginalitymadebyus.Weassure

thatstudents,workers,adults,andkidswillenjoyourproductandwillbuythisovera

ndover again.Weservethis“maegtoeskick”inacommonway but in a

veryuniquetasteandaffordableprice.
MaegtoeskickProducts

Maegtoeskickhas different combo offering. Combo A will include 5 pieces

maegtoeskick plus drinks which is Nestea. And Combo B which has 8

pieces maegtoeskick without drinks. Each combo costs P15.00. And if the

students or teachers only want to grab the drinks, it costs P6.00 every cup.

One could not create the product if no ingredients and materials to be used.

Creating maegtoeskick and drinks needed to have everything that the

product needs.

We assume to create almost 1000 pieces of maegtoeskick products. And each product
will cost P2.00, and each combo will cost P10.00. And lastly, drink will cost for P5.00.
To assume how much profit we will get, we will divide 1000 by 3 (for combo a,
combo b and each) and it equals to 333 pieces.

Computations:

COMBO A:

333/5=66.6 or 67 servings

After this, we will multiply 67 to its price which is 10.00.

67x10= P670.00
COMBO B:

333/8= 41.625 or 42 servings

After this, we will multiply 42 to its price which is 10.00.

42x10= P420.00

We will just simply multiply, 333 pieces to P2.00.

DRINKS

We assume to have 60 cups in a day for drinks only. And that will be:

60x5= P300.00

After computing how much to earn in every offering, we will now add it to get
the assumed total sales.

After adding, we will now substract the initial capital from the total sales to

To project the assumed income for a month, we will multiply the income in a
