Lesson delivery
4.Have students open their books to page 25.
5.Play the CD and have students to point the pictures in the vocabulary section and repeat. ( Track 36 )
6.Say the phrase again in random order and have students repeat and point .
7.Direct students’ attention to the pictures. ( Track 37 )
ACTIVITIES
8.Ask students to tell teacher what they can see in the picture.
9.Tell students that they’re going to listen to a song. Ask them to guess what it’s going to be about.
10.Play the song once and have students listen.
11.Play the song a second time and have students number the activities shown in the pictures in the order that they are
heard in the song. Pause after each activity is mentioned so that students have enough time to write in the numbers.
12.Play the song again for students to check their answers.
Post-lesson
7. Invite them to sing the song in the classroom .

Lesson delivery
4.Have students open their books to page 26 and point out the chores in the vocabulary section .
5.Play the CD and have students point to the chores and repeat . ( Track 39 )
6.Say the chores in random order and have students repeat and point.
7.Have students look at the presentation and ask them what Anna is doing in the first picture.
8.Ask students to tell teacher what they think is happening.
ACTIVITIES 9.Ask students to point to the bubbles and follow along as teacher play the CD. (Track 39 )
10.Play the CD again and encourage students to shadow read.
11.Play the CD once more , pausing after each phrase for students to repeat.
12.Model acting out the dialogue with three students. Choose four students to act it out for the class. Then have
students act out the dialogues in groups of four.
13.In turns, have groups of students perform for the whole class. Repeat until all students have had a chance to
perform.

Pre-lesson
1. Review previous learning by showing the student the flashcards of household chores.
Lesson delivery
2.Direct students’ attention to the grammar box at the top of page 27 . Read the questions and the answers out loud
and have students repeat.
3.Mime different actions and invite students to ask teacher What are you doing? Answer I’m ( making a cake ).Invite
students to do the same in pairs .
ACTIVITIES 4.Then point to Anna in Activity 1 and ask students What is she doing? Invite different students to ask similar questions
about the rest of the people in activity 1 in pairs .
5.Explain to students that they have to refer to activity 1 and circle the correct word to complete sentences 1-6.
6.Have students compare their answers in pair first , then check as a class .

2.Point to each flashcards , say the word / phrase and get students to repeat few times after teacher .
3.Mime the corresponding action / activities at the same time.

2. tell students that they will listen to four short dialogues and will have to tick the correct picture for each one.
ACTIVITIES
3.Play the CD , pausing between the dialogues so that students have enough time tick the correct picture. ( Track 41 )
4.Play the CD again and have students check their answers .
5.Check answers as a class.
Post-lesson
6.Students do the activity in the workbook page 19 activity 2 .
7.Check students’ answers.

SUCCESS CRITERIA Pupils able to make their own silhouette independently or with guidance .
Pre-lesson
1.Stick some of the flashcards from the previous lesson on the board.
2. Ask students questions about the people in them and encourage students to answer .
Lesson delivery
3.Direct students’ attention to the pictures and ask them what the children are doing.
4.Point to the second picture and ask them in L1 what the child is making .
5.Point to the third picture and ask students what the child is doing.
ACTIVITIES
6.Make sure students understand that they will make their own silhouttes and that their silhouttes can be any shape
they would like them to be.
7.Hand out the black cardboard , the white cardboard , the tape and the markers / coloured pencils.
8.Explain that first they are going to make their silhouttes using the black and the white cardboard.
9.Once they’ve done that , ask them to draw pictures of people doing everyday activities or playing a sport.
10.Go around monitoring students’ progress and lending a hand to any students in need of help.
Post-lesson
11.Divide students into pairs and have them play the game in Student Book on page 30.
