METHANE GENERATION

Carbon     C        12,0107 g/mol
Oxygen     O         15,9994 g/mol 

H2 = 2 g/Mol
CO2 = 44 g/Mol
since Methane is CH4 

For the reaction you need 1 CO2 + 2 H2 -> 1CH4 + 1O2 .

1 Kg H2 would be 500 Mol of Dihydrogen,
500 Mol CO2 would be: 500 g x 44 g/Mol = 22000 g = 22 Kg
Mixed with 1 Kg = 500 Mol of H2 with 22 Kg = 500 Mol of CO2 and get out 500 Mol
of CH4. 

1 Mol of a gas has 22,4 liter at atmospheric pressure

Yit is generate 500 * 22,4 liter CH4 which is 11200 liter or 11,2 m3 of Methane.
The weight of your 500 Mol of Methane is: CH4 = 16 g/Mol so you get 16 g/Mol *
500 Mol = 8000 g = 8 Kg of Methane.
