pupils will be able to enjoy and appreciate through non-verbal response
rhymes, poems and songs.
Learning outcomes
At the end of this lesson, the pupils will be able to:
- read the poem
- able to complete the worksheet by fill in the blanks

Facilitating and Learning activities


Set induction:
- The teacher shows a video of Spongebob and his grandma
- The teacher asks the pupils regarding the video.

Presentation:
- The teacher presents the pupils with the poem My Grandma House
- The teacher reads the poem, follow by the pupils.

Practice:
- The teacher distributes worksheets to each group.
- The pupils fill in the blanks with correct words.

Production:
Stanza charades
- The pupils are ought to form 4 groups.
- The pupils are given 10 seconds to refresh the stanzas read in the poem.
- Each representative from each group will have to act out the word given by the teacher while
their team members guess the stanza.
- The group with most stanza guessed correctly, wins.

Closure:
- The pupils are ought to recall the lesson guided by the teacher.
