Dayalbagh Educational Institute has been a cradle of the systems movement in India and a pioneer in application of
systems approach to all fields. DEI-Dayalbagh Chapter of SSI organized PARITANTRA 2008, First Indian
Students’ Systems Conference on the theme “Unity in Diversity of Technologies for attaining perfection’ on
March 30, 2008 with an enlightening Panel Discussion on ‘Dayalbagh as an Eco-Village System’. Today, there are
12 DEI-Chapters of SSI at Dayalbagh, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Jaipur, Kanpur, Ludhiana,
Lucknow, Noida, Secunderabad and Vizag.

The life-blood of any Society are its Student Members. Carrying forward this glorious tradition, PARITANTRA
2009, Second Indian Students Systems Conference is being organized with participation from all DEI-Chapters of
SSI. Students pursuing courses in Distance Education Mode from various DEI Study Centres are also welcome to
contribute papers.
The broad subject areas of the conference, though not limited to those listed, are
1. Humanities and Literary Systems 2. Educational Systems
3. Socio-Economic, Commerce and Business Systems 4. Life-and-Physical-Sciences and Engineering Systems

PANEL DISCUSSION
The culmination of PARITANTRA 2009 will be a Panel Discussion on
‘Systems (Paritantra) in the Service of Mankind’ with eminent Panelists from all systemic walks of life.
PRIZES
The best papers in each session will be given DEI-Dayalbagh Chapter Young Scientist Certificates and all the
participants will get participation certificates.
PAPER SUBMISSION
Abstract of papers in MSWORD format (maximum 1 page) may be submitted by email before January 20, 2009 to
Dr. Vishal Sahni, Convener, PARITANTRA 2009, DEI, Dayalbagh by email.

FREE Registration (Student members of DEI-Dayalbagh Chapter, SSI with accepted papers)
Rs. 200 (Other Students)
Registration fees is to be submitted after acceptance of paper is communicated (January 25, 2009).
