Jedd Estareja, Your Honor, we are presenting our 2nd Witness, Mr.
Lisaca, Brother of the Respondent, Lady grace

DIRECT EXAMINATION

Atty. Estareja : Good morning Sir

Witness : Good morning sir

Atty : How are you related to the respondent?

Witness : I am her brother

Atty : Are you living together with your sister?

Witness : yes.

Atty : where?
Witness : in Paranaque, in our family home.

Atty : together with your?

Witness : with our mom, and other siblings.
Atty : Why is it that your sister still lives together with you, the fact
that they have their own rented house before
Witness : our mother ask her to stay with us, because there is plenty of
room to occupy, and she can manage our family home.

Atty : What was the response of your sister to the proposal of your
mother
Wintess : at first she was hesitant but later on she decided to move in with
us, together with her husband.

Atty : so they are now staying in your family home. How was the
relationship of the couple?
Witness : They are very understanding, they are like lovebirds. Especially si
Kuya James, he always took care of ate.

Atty : did they fight? Did you witness some of their argument at home?
Witness : Yes. I happen to saw the first time, Kuya james leave the house.

Atty : did you happen to know the reason?

Witness : What I recall is that they were arguing something, they were in a
heated argument and are shouting to each other.

Atty : did you do something?

Witness : No. I do not involve myself to their fights.

Atty : Did you happen to hear that lady told james to leave the house?
Witness : No.

Atty : then why did james leave the house?

Witness : i don’t know sir. Kuya james just leave, without saying anything.

Atty : Did james get back after their fight?

Witness : Yes. After a week kuya james, returned home.

Atty : How are they? At home?

Witness : ate used to cook for him every dinner whenever she got home
early.

Atty : What changes did you witness after their fight?

Witness : They are always going home together.

Atty : what do they usually do everyweekends?

Witness : they normally watch movie together during their restdays.

Atty : do they go on vacation?

Witness : Yes. Sometimes they were informing me that they will be at out
of town, for 2-3 days.

Atty : How will you describe their relationship after their

reconciliation?
Witness : They are now a better couple. Before they are always shouting
when they are in an argument, but later they were calm fixing their
problems. And they talk often to each other.

Atty Go : Mr. Witness you said before, are you close with the husband of
your sister?
Witness : Yes sir.

Atty : did james tell to you whenever they have problem?

Witness : Yes.

Atty : then, did he tell you why did he leave the house on their first
separation?
Witness : what I know only sir is (interrupted)

Atty : answer my question yes or no only, mr witness, did he tell you?

Witness : No sir.

Atty : how about their second and the following argument and
separation?
Witness : No sir.
