1. The tuition fee listed above is based on a standard full time student load (48 points) for the calendar year offered. The
tuition fee is subject to annual review. Any tuition fee increases will not exceed 7.5% per annum.
2. The annual tuition fee is payable in two instalments on a semester basis, except in unusual circumstances approved by
the Director, International Centre.
3. The first tuition fee payment shall be paid to The University of Western Australia upon acceptance of this offer. In
subsequent semesters of re-enrolment, fees are to be paid no later than the first day of each semester. The fee payable

POLICY FOR REFUND OF FEES

Miss TOO Yip Ching

This agreement, and the availability of complaints and appeals processes, does not remove the right of the student to take action under
Australia's consumer protection laws. All applications for a refund of fees should be sent, in writing, to:

The Director, International Centre, The University of Western Australia, 35 Stirling Highway, Crawley 6009, Western Australia.

1. Total withdrawal from a course

Tuition fees paid in advance are fully refundable in the event that:

entitled to retain an administration fee of 10%.
1.2 Partial Refund
Where a commencing student gives written notice of their withdrawal from the course at least four weeks before the start of the
semester, all tuition fees paid in respect of the semester are refundable, less an administrative fee of 10% of the fee for one semester
or $1000, whichever is the lesser.
Where a commencing student gives written notice of their withdrawal from the course less than four weeks before the start of the
semester, the student will be eligible for a refund of 50% of tuition fees paid in respect of the semester.
A student who withdraws from a course for whatever reason within the first four teaching weeks of a semester shall be eligible for a
refund of 50% of their semester fee liability, based on their enrolment on the first day of that semester.
1.3 No refund
A student who withdraws from a course for whatever reason beyond the fourth teaching week of the course shall not be eligible for a
refund.
No refund of fees will be given to a student who is requested to leave Australia because of a breach of their student visa conditions.

A student who withdraws from a unit for whatever reason beyond the fourth teaching week of Summer School (Semester 3), shall not
be eligible for a refund.

3. Cancellation of course by UWA

In the unlikely event that UWA is unable to deliver a course in full, an affected student will be offered a full refund of all the course
money paid to date. The refund will be paid to the student within two weeks of the day on which the course ceased to be provided.

Alternatively, the student may be offered enrolment in a suitable course delivered by UWA at no extra cost. The student will have the
right to choose either a full refund of course fees, or to accept a place in another course. If placement in another course is preferred, the
