Introduction

Good afternoon to Ms. Heng and my fellow friends. In this era of high technology,
computers have become common. Everyone has their own devices on average. As
technology grows, humans continue to develop new technologies. So, let me lead
everyone to understand the computer and its benefits today.

What is computer?

 Computer is an electronic device, operating under the control of instructions that

can accept data, process the data according to specified rules, produce results or
information, and store the results or information for future use.

Computer not is PC only. Washing machine also is a computer. That is because it is use
computer to perform the different operations, such as calculate the time washing and
perform various washing way, such as regular washing mode or blanket washing mode.
So, we can choose which washing mode we want to use.

Main Part

What benefits of computer have?

1) Reduce human workload

 Computer can perform billions or trillions of calculations or operations. For
example, sending notification about promotion to consumers in a same time
and calculate entire company employees’ salary pay.

 If the role changes to human, we cannot handle it. That is because we cannot
handle it with exceeding our limit. For example, we cannot finish entire
company employees’ salary pay calculation in one day. Even though, we
overtime to do it but when we felt tired and we will make the mistake, such as
miscalculate the salary pay.

Therefore, computer can overcome our limit and replaces us to work.

2) Consistency
 Computer can produce consistent result. When user key in same wrong data
in different computer, the computer also will produce the same error message.
This situation let us easy to manage our data and we don’t worry result
generated is different by each other. This phrase called “garbage in, garbage
out”.

3) Storage
 Computer can store huge amounts of data and easy to manage it. Then, we
 not need to spend our money to buy cabinet to store files. We not only save
our money and save the space. Besides that, we also can though the computer
to share the data with other people. We don’t worry the location limit.

 If we use the cabinet to store our data or files. When we need to find the file
in future, we will face the time-consuming because there are many files store
in the cabinets.

As a result, computer can allow us easy to manage or share files with others.

4) Communication
 When the computers are connected to each other, they can share data, info
and instructions, such as video call and so on. For example, we can though
video conference to face to face meeting. These computers can be in a same
room or thousands of miles away from each other.

Conclusion

In conclusion, computer bring many benefits such as communication, consistency,

storage and reduce human workload to us and can solve our limits. That is all. Thank
