1. Abstract:
International Trade Fait obviously one of the most awaiting annual event of our country. Many

People do wait for this event every year. There are lots of things to discuss about these trade fair

event. Instead of discussing other things, in this writing we only focused on ‘Foods’. For being an

event, participated by various nations & culture’s people, we get the opportunity to taste different

culture’s foods beside our own local foods. Besides this good thing, some incidents also disclose

the fact, there have been some problems regarding foods of trade fair. Through this writing, I try

to light on those problems, also find out some solutions to solve. It is hoped that this writing will

cover the key points and the suggestions will work out in future.

2. Introduction:
Various fairs or exhibitions are organized from time to time by different Organizations,

Governments and sometimes by other Business Institutions. Trade Fair is such a fair where

different kinds of goods, industrial products and electronics of home and aboard are brought to

sale, buy and show. It is actually an annual affair. Nowadays trade fair has become a tradition. It

is being organized on a massive scale through the initiative and patronage of Governments.

Besides, the business things, a trade fair gives people great joy. To enrich that joy in a larger scale,

many food suppliers, restaurants and companies arrange different kinds of Recreation Stalls, Food

Stalls. Today our topic is to illustrate ‘The Food’ of Trade Fair. As we know a Trade Fair is a

multinational program, here we can find different kinds of foods. Beside that sometimes people

face harassments and problems regarding foods of trade fair. So today our main aim will be to

discuss about the different kinds of foods of Trade Fair, problems people face in the food stalls

and what should we do to overcome this problem and make things better for everyone.

3. Types of Food in Trade Fare
Trade Fair in Bangladesh actually is being held once a year, opening month of each year and it

lasts for a whole month. People come to visit this fair for various joys’ reasons and to fulfill that

different kinds of stalls are being held. Among those stalls, Food Stalls are very important. Not

only Bangladeshi Food stalls are being arranged there but also with different kinds of foods of

neighbor countries’ (such as India, Pakistan, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Turkey,

Thailand, China) stalls are also being found in Trade Fair. Apart from open food stall different

Companies and Restaurants (such as-Pran, Bombay Sweets, Haji Birayni) arrange bigger closed

stalls to show and sell their foods. Many local foods like- Chotpoti, Fuchka, Achar, Pitha, Mixed

Local Drinks are being sold in Trade Fair. Apart from local food, different culture’s foods are

found in Trade Fair. After roaming around the whole big fair area, sometimes many people get

tired and they choose these food stalls for getting recreation, and refreshment.

4. Problems in Food stalls
As Trade Fair is full of multicultural foods, people take the opportunity to try different tastes.

Using this emotion many institutions, food suppliers become dishonest to make some more money.

That’s why facing problems, and continuous harassments regarding foods in Trade Fair nowadays

became a trend. Supplying unhygienic foods, high price, dishonesty, these has become the daily

complaints. Most of the foods of trade fair are not hygienic. That’s why many times the eaters get

sick after eating these foods. Also sometimes the price of the food is so high to bear for anybody.

Dishonesty of the seller, also a big complain arise during the trade fair. They demand more money

than their services. Sometimes, they befool the consumers. To make some more money, they

choose the path of dishonesty and for that the customers suffer.

5. Solution
Trying to solve, overcome the harassments, problems related to foods of Trade Fair is very

important thing too. Actually, every little things of this world has a positive and negative sides.

We get the opportunity to enjoy multicultural foods beside many local foods. On the other hand

sometimes we face harassments and problems. And also it is our duty to try to solve this problems

in our own. Creating a proper environment for the comers, maintaining the M.R.P while selling

foods, adjusting the price according to the value and kinds of service, using the proper use of law

of Consumer Rights, establishing laws and rules to follow can be the ways to avoid these kinds of

harassments and problems. Beside the rules maker and rules followers, we, the Trade Fair going

people also have to be careful about their rights and responsibilities. That’s how we can solve all

mismanagements altogether.

6. Conclusion
Last, but not the least, Trade Fair helps us in many ways and it is growing popularity among the

mass people day by day. When many people will gather in one place, ‘Food’ will be one of the

most important things there. Also the demand will arise with the time when people will get the

opportunity to get different kinds of local and foreign foods. Though it is very natural but using

that emotion, taking the path of dishonesty is also not the right thing to do. So we all should keep

in that our mind by arranging a trade fair in our country we are getting the opportunity to show our

culture, goods and foods to others and also getting the chance to witness different countries’

products. It is helping our economy and also motivating us to increase the products’ value that can

compete in the world market. So we should try hard to present all the people proper food services

and also we should try to obey our responsibilities.
