Answer
The impact of transportation on imports taking into account the advantages and
disadvantages.
Introduction
The impact of transport in the market of our planet has generated multiple factors
over the years, these factors generate many questions based on the good
performance of models to mitigate the most disadvantages and generate day after
day more advantages for both seller as for the buyer in order that the demand on
every product is increasing. The factors to observe in the proper analysis of the
readings lead us to show that the transportation of merchandise worldwide is the
great determinant of the high or low costs of the final price.
Main points
- Reducing logistics and transport costs helps increase demand and the economic
flow of the product.
- Reduce logistics and transport costs strengthens the bonds between buyer and
seller as it will allow more purchases and transactions.
- Reducing logistics and transportation costs allows more countries to focus their
eyes on the excellent products of our export-type country to acquire them and
increase our economy.
- Reducing logistics and transport costs stimulates internal sales since the products
at the best price are more affordable.
- Reduce logistics and transportation costs allows us to quote our contribution in
the stock market, generates more income and creates a company in our country
ordering more jobs in it.
- The disadvantages of the high costs of logistics and transport distribution in the
International Physical Distribution cause less demand, each time the transport is
more expensive and this generates much more cost in the products.
- Many times the transport is very expensive and very delayed, this generates a
great loss in sales and little flow of money.
- Large companies take over all the trade leaving behind small and small
businesses that can not bear the high costs of transport and logistics.
It is also important to identify that good transportation and excellent logistics can help
us obtain customers, the transportation related to import and export every day should
be more effective when it comes to covering the demands and deliveries, "The
alternatives offered in international logistics they are greater than in the national one.
The means of transport, documentation, insurance, packaging, etc., require greater
professionalism on the part of those responsible for logistics management. In
addition, this complexity is accentuated by the barriers to import imposed by the laws
of some countries. The importance of good logistics management lies mainly in costs
and customer service. Logistic costs include inventory management, order
processing, transportation freight, insurance, storage, handling, loading and
unloading, packaging and documentation. These costs have a very important weight
in the final price of the product. "1
Conclusions
Evidence of the above we can determine that it is important to bear in mind that the
high costs of logistics and transportation are not affecting everyone, the economy
of a country is largely based on interim trade which is based on economic stability
and these are achieved with the imports and exports which are increasing day by
day, taking a lot of force with the intention of making it a totally necessary and fluid
practice with great repercussions in our desire for a good economy, the
advantages and disadvantages previously mentioned are symbols based on
everyday life and what can easily be perceived by just going to a place and buying
as it allows us to examine our market and identify the high costs to which we are
exposed.
