INTRODUCTION
The project is very useful for understand the Business Development Strategy which is
use by the companies. This project is help to understand the importance of marketing
strategy to develop business. From this project we know the needs of better business
environment for the develop business.
COMPANY PROFILE
DINSHAW’S
Purity hygiene, freshness, values that dinshaw’s has cherished for over 75 year from
homemade ice-cream to milk journey. It launched itself with milk brand trying to prove its
magic again & which has been which has successful venture till today. Dinshaw,s offer
Paneer, Milk product, Curd, Butter milk, Sheekhand & wide range of ice-cream.
Dinshaw’s sale of milk is around 1,25,000 litter per day. Dinshaw’s uses about 65,000
litter of milk daily through 5 chilling centers that procurement from different villages around
Nagpur. Dinshaw’s milk contains specified levels of proteins, calcium, fat, energy, glucose,
lactose & calories. Dinshaw’s dairy division is in 3 states. It has around 80 distributors &
3000 outlets. Dinshaw’s milk sale is around & total over Rs. 100crores annually.
Dinshaw’s is the central India’s largest private sector dairy & is a market leader in
Nagpur.
Dinshaw’s with a growth rate of around 12 to 15 % annually today is the 4th in the
Ice-cream business behind the Qwality walls, Vadilal. Dinshaw’s ice-cream is present in 13
states & its sale is around Rs. 60 crores annually.
It was 1st dairy in Central India to have received both the ISO 2001 quality assurance
certifications.
JERSEY
While all the dairies are ISO 22000 certified, the powder plant also has a certification
from Export Inspection Agency qualifying the `Jersey’ products for exports. The combined
processing capacity of milk & milk products is 9.76 LLPD which includes 1.50 LLPD of
drying facility at Ongole, A.P.The company markets its products through a well laid
distribution network comprising of distributors, agents, parlors and exclusive franchise
outlets.
More than 6500 agents currently sell the milk and milk products of Creamline. Its
cultured milk products consisting of Curd, Lassi and Butter Milk has, within a short span of
time, captured a significant market share and enjoys a high brand equity amongst the
consumers. CDPL constantly endeavors to delight its customer ranging from household to
HORECA and prestigious institutions with its quality of products and continuous innovation.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
RESERCH DESIGN :-
A detailed outline of how an investigation will take place. A research design will
typically include how data is to be collected, what instruments will be employed, how
the instruments will be used and the intended means for analyzing data collected.
RESEARCH UNIVERSE :-
The universe consists of all survey elements that qualify for inclusion in the research
study. This may be individual group of people, organization even object.
The level of customers preference is high for Dinshaw’s and Jersey Daily and its
quality has a positive impact on consumer buying behavior.
The level of customers preference is Low for Dinshaw’s and Jersey Daily and its
quality has a Negative impact on consumer buying behavior.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
To view the satisfaction level of customers for Dinshaw’s and Jersey Daily.
To know the perception of customers regarding Product.
To determine the customers satisfaction regarding product.
To measure the Brand Loyalty of Dinshaw’s and Jersey Daily Product.
To study the customers view on Facility of Dinshaw’s and Jersey Daily.
To study the factors that influence decision-making in choosing the brand.
To suggest factors to retain the customers.
SAMPLING
Sample Design :- Sampling methods refers to the rules and procedures by which some
elements of the population are include in the sample. Some common sampling methods are
simple random sampling, stratified sampling, systematic Sampling, and cluster sampling.
This research project is analysis of all marketing information and development strategy of
Dinshaw’s Dairy & Jersey Dairy.
The systematic sampling was done to find different types of marketing strategy done by the
company in different areas to find the strategy use by the company.
Sample Size :- Sample size determination is the act of choosing the number of observation
or replicates to include in a statistical sample. The sample size is an important feature of any
empirical study in which the goal is to make inferences about a population from a sample.
a) Primary data:-
The primary data is that which details we collect first time from the market and also
used first time in the research. We also say that the information is first time in the
research decision. To collect the primary data questionnaire is prepared structure non-
disguise questionnaire is prepared.
b) Secondary data:-
Secondary data are those data which are already collected by someone for some purpose
and are available for the present study; secondary data are already collected by the
company’s records and other library’s books. When the secondary data are sufficient,
the researcher has to be satisfied with the primary sources of data. Secondary data can
be used as bases for comparison with primary data have been collected by
questionnaire.
Data interpretation and analysis tests are used to determine your ability to extract the correct
data from this graphs and charts. This analysis help to know complete study of the
companies overall activities like marketing, promotion strategy.
FINDINGS
The collected data are analysis after complete full research and final project successfully
completed.
Conclusion:-
Most of the customers purchased Dinshaw’s product regularly, because Dinshaw’s brand
is more successful than the Jersey Dairy. But the new customers also attract to Jersey
Dairy because the marketing strategy of Jersey is very attract to customers.
Suggestion:-
On the basis of finding and conclusion made researcher during research period, improve
performance in market and business strategy to develop business successfully.
