Great to hear from you and thanks very much for the invitation. I’m

sure your party will be great, but I’m afraid I won’t be able to make it.

We’re going to visit my aunt in Glasgow next weekend. My cousin is

eighteen next Saturday and she’s having a party on Saturday, too! It’s

too bad, but there is some good news. We’re going to have a barbecue

in the back garden in two weeks. Would you like to come? If the

weather’s bad, we’ll have the barbecue in the kitchen! I’m really looking

forward to it!
