What to do:
1. Examine the diagram of the circulatory system
2.Identify the main parts then label them.

What to do: think of the best word that fits to each box to match with the sentences across and down
given.
Across: Down:

What to do:
1. Draw the arteries from the heart to the different parts of the body.
2. Draw the veins to show that blood flows as it return to the heart.
3. Color with red the passage of the blood to the different parts of the body, like the foot, hand ,
eyes, head , and stomach.
4. Color with dark green the passage back to the heart.
What to do:
Bring a sample of pig’s or chicken blood to the class. With the use of a microscope, observe its
components.
Observation:
1. Did you find the components of human blood as in the lesson?
2. What happened to the blood that you brought? Is it in liquid or solid form? Why do you think it is in
that form?
3. Why is the blood very important to living things?

1. Look for some bluish lines at the different parts of the body. Start with the inner side of your arms
near the elbow or the inner wrist.
2. trace with your finger these bluish blood vessels. Compare them with the diagram of the circulatory
system.

1. Bring a real heart of a pig or a chicken
2. Open up the specimen and locate the different parts . Compare it with a human heart using a
model or chart.
3. Trace the pattern of circulation in the specimen and the diagram.
