America began with the Gospel. The Puritans would

build a chapel before building their own homes, and
the schools they established educated their children on
how to serve God. Starting from the late 18th century,
America dispatched missionaries all over the world
to preach the name of Jesus Christ. Now, however,
doctrine and denomination divides modern American
Christianity. Believers prefer to receive blessings to
increase the quality of their own lives rather than
sacrificing themselves for God or others. Our schools
have prohibited the talk of God. In addition, our youths
stop attending church after they graduate high school
and they suffer because of problems such as drug abuse
and suicide. Now is the time of change for the leadership
of Christianity. When Christian leaders come together to
focus solely on the Bible, putting aside both denomination
and doctrine, then God will work in unimaginable ways
and America will be renewed by the Word.

It was a big church and I shared my
testimony during the Sunday service.
The members of the church were very
touched in their heart, and they even
called me a Man of Faith. Those who
heard my testimony lined up to give
me a donation. After that testimony, I
had enough money to buy us airplane
tickets ($1300) to return home.
At the end of my no-money-witness-
ing-trip, I was so ashamed of the life I lived
without faith in God that I wept and cried.
Pastor Ock Soo Park had told me, “If God
doesn’t help you, then rip up your Bible!”
The God Pastor Park believed in was so
different from the God I believed in. I was
a preacher believing in a theoretical God.
However, I had no faith to believe that
God was alive and that He was helping
me. On the day my no-money-witness-
ing-trip ended, I felt strongly that “God
is always with me, no matter where I go.
He will always help me.” That is how my no-money-witnessing-trip
became a turning point of my ministry.

Pastor Ock Soo Park is the founder of the Good
News Mission, which currently operates 760
churches in 80 countries all over the world. He is
the author of The Secret of Forgiveness of Sins
and Being Born Again, which sold more than one
million copies, and has authored 54 other books on
spiritual life. Pastor Park has also provided education
and training for aspiring Christian leaders through initiatives such
as the Mahanaim Bible College, the Mahanaim Cyber College, and
the CLF. In 2017 alone, 7,000 bishops, pastors, and Christian leaders
were transformed through Pastor Park’s CLF programs, and they
experienced much change in their ministries. Recently, many heads
of state from various nations have engaged Pastor Park for spiritual
guidance and fellowship. President Thomas Yayi Boni of Benin,
President Rodrigo Duterte of the Philippines, and King Mwati III of
Swaziland are just few of the many government officials that have
also embraced the lessons and leadership of Pastor Park. Pastor
Ock Soo Park is currently the senior pastor of Good News Gangnam
Church in Seoul, Korea.

FROM THE 2018 PASSOVER FESTIVAL IN UGANDA
Mandela National Stadium New Year Passover Festival Gospel preached
to 100,000 people.
Joseph Serwadda, the representative of the Ugandan Protestants known
as the chairman of BAF (Born Again Faith) invited Pastor Ock Soo Park to
the New Year Passover Festival which took place at the Mandela National
Stadium on December 31st, 2018.
The very first occasion dates back to 2002, when it was held in
commemoration of the 40th anniversary of Uganda’s independance to
provide Ugandans with a new vision. This 17th annual occasion marked
the biggest event at the Mandela Stadium.
The event took place in attendance of 100,000 people, including gov-
ernment officials and one thousand Christian Representatives, making
the occasion even more meaningful.
“Unite your hearts with God by accepting Jesus who cleansed me,
Jesus who sanctified me, and the words which sanctified me. Gid will
bless Uganda.”
The 100,000 in attendance answered with an applause and shouted
“Amen! Hallelujah!” in reply.
Pastor Ock Soo Park’s sermon was broadcasted live in 2 local TV sta-
tions and 5 radio stations. On December 31st of 2018, God left his large
mark in the Christian history.
were on a “meaningless trip.” Though I knew
he was insulting us, I could not dispute with
him. I felt that if I argued with him, then I
would not receive any food and would end
up having to sleep on the street. I told him,
“Pastor, I am hungry.” After hearing that, the
pastor bought my wife and me a burger
from McDonald’s. After we ate, he took us
to a shed. There was nothing but the cold
and bare concrete floor, and that is where
he told us to sleep. It was a very cold night. My wife
called her family in South Korea. On that day, Korea was celebrating
its Thanksgiving holiday, and when her mother answered the phone,
my wife began to cry and wail. My heart caved in when I saw her
crying. I seemed so foolish.
There was nothing else I could do so I opened the Bible. As I read
the Word, the words of Matthew chapter 4 began to enter my heart.
Jesus fasted for 40 days. When Satan tempted him, He did not sub-
mit to the voice of Satan despite not having eaten anything for such
a long period. Satan told Him, “All these things will I give thee, if thou
wilt fall down and worship me.” When I looked at myself, I had already
fallen down and was worshipping Satan. Satan seemed to be telling
me, “Hey, you need a place to sleep, right? You need food, right?” In
my heart, I cried, “I don’t want to live like this anymore! I am going to
serve God from now on. I am not going to sell God for some shelter
or food!’” At that moment, I was able to decide in my heart. “God, if
you will not give me a place to sleep, then I will sleep on the road.
God, if you do not give me food, then I will not eat anymore. If God is
not going to give me food, then why should I try to prepare some-
thing for myself? From now on, I will leave everything to the hands
of God. Let’s go where God leads us.” When I left all things into God’s
hands, freedom came into my heart. I felt that God would allow me to
preach the gospel to the people that He had prepared for me.
After that night, God led my wife and me to preach the gospel.
During the last 10 days of our trip, I preached the gospel in a home-
less shelter and many people received salvation. One of them

In August 2010, I experienced an

event that became the turning point
of my life as a missionary. I was at our
missionaries’ meeting in LA, and Pastor
Ock Soo Park was talking about how
the missionaries do not live by faith.
He said, “Everyone, you teach others
to believe in God, but do you actually
believe that God is going to help you?
If God doesn’t help you, then rip up your Bible. Why do you live
believing in a God who will not help you?” He told us if we wanted to
experience how God is alive, we should go on a no-money-witness-
ing-trip to a place where we know no one and the only possession
we should take is our Bible. His words became a great challenge in
my heart.
My wife and I decided to go on this no-money-witnessing-trip for
one month to rely only on God. I bought a one way ticket on Grey
Hound to Jacksonville, Florida, a place I had never been before.
After the bus had arrived, I felt so lost because I did not know where
to go. I simply walked wherever the road led me. Eventually, a town
appeared and I began witnessing. Though I was witnessing, worries
filled my heart. Day became night, and after worrying about where
we would sleep, I thought that a church would probably receive us,
sso we began knocking on all the doors
of the churches we came across. One

church opened up and a man stepped

out.
I said, “We are missionaries, and we
have nowhere to sleep tonight. Can you
please help us?”
He replied, “There is now way I can
help you. Sleeping in this church is
illegal.”
When we went to another church,
the pastor there doubted our story
and insulted us, telling us that we
