BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

OBJECTIVE

To improve the livelihood of the Rural in Barangay

To help to increase the income of our community to less the unemployed man and women.

Methodology

This part of the study refers to the process of collecting information and/or data, both
present and historical, to be used in making decisions. It includes the assumptions and values that
serve as a rationale for research students and the standards or criteria the researcher uses for
interpreting data and reaching conclusions. The following sections describe the methodology used for
this study.

Research Design

For this study, the researcher has used Descriptive Research Methodology to determine the
feasibility of establishing a quail eggs production. This type enabled the researcher to describe data
gathered, record and analyze the information and interpret the conditions that will exist in the
process. The study will focus on accumulating the necessary evidence that will support the
researcher’s conclusion about the financial and nonfinancial viability.

Instrumentation and Data Collection

Interviews, observation, research and survey questionnaire are the ways in which data was
gathered. Through the interviews immediate feedback of respondents can be recorded. The
researchers interviewed relevant people in San Carlos City in order to answer questions in addition to
the information gathered by survey questionnaire. Under observation method, the people are
observed by their actions. The researchers gathered information through observation. They observed
the attitude and characteristics of the different customers.
Research

The researchers used the information they gathered through the internet and different
books from libraries as reference of their study.

Tools for data analysis

For the interpretation and analysis of the gathered information, the following statistic
methods were used:

SLOVEN’S FORMULA

The group used the Sloven’s Formula to determine the needed respondents from San Carlos
City.
