 Biographies

Konstantinos Leontaris is a Greek Violinist borned

in 1985 in Ioannina. He began to study at age of 5 and
graduated from conservatory of Philippos Nakas in
Ioannina in 2010. He continues his studies in the
University of Corfu with the violin professor Spyros
Gikontis. He has participated in masterclasses with
violinists as Leonidas Kavakos, Vasile
Beluska (Bowling Green State University U.S.A) and
Spyros Gikontis(Ionian University). He is a member of Ionian Camerata, Municipal
Orchestra of Rhodes and Orchestra of Ionian University. He has worked with known
conductors as Miltos Logiadis, Biron Fidetzis and Stanley Ritchie. Every year he gives
concerts in all over Greece as a chamber music player and as a soloist. He is violin and
chamber music professor in conservatories in Ioannina and Igoumenitsa.
As from 2010, in collaboration with the "Society for Epirus' Studies" (EHM), he
organises concerts as an artistic director, for young artists in Ioannina and from 2012
every year during summer the "Classical Music Night Concert" with the Municipal
Gallery of Corfu. He works as a violin and chamber music professor in Ioannina and
Igoumenitsa. In 2009 he graduated from the Materials Science Department in Ioannina.

Dimitris Leontaris was born in Kastoria, Greece in

1990. Since 1996, he lived in the city of Ioannina,
where he originally comes from. At the age of 8, he
took first music lessons at the “Protypo kendro
Armoniou”. He then continued his studies at the
“Filippos Nakas” conservatory in Ioannina, under Mrs
Katerina Chouliara, where in 2003 he acquired the
“Certificate of Education in Two-Keyboard Synthesizer”. At the same time, he was
studying theory of music under Mr. Spiros Dogoritis and acquired the “Diploma of
Harmony”.
Dimitris took his first piano lessons with Mrs. Myrto Fragoulis, who introduced him to
the classical repertoire. In 2008, after successful exams, he started studying at the Music
Department of Ionian University in Corfu, and in 2010 joint the “specialization in Piano
Performance” course under the world known piano soloist, associate Professor Mrs.
Elena Mouzalas. Dimitris has also taught quite extensively and he has the opportunity of
attending master-classes in piano pedagogy. During his studies he has taken part in
many ensembles and concerts of the Music Department as well as others.
