Power of Attorney

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS that I , Mr. Ram, son of Dibakar, Hindu, aged 55
years and residing at executed this Power of Attorney hereinafter called the GRANTOR, do
hereby constitute, appoint and retain Mr. Jayraj, son of Ram, Hindu, aged 35 years and residing
at Plot No 13 Nehru Street, Mg road, Coimbatore as my true and lawful Attorney, hereinafter
called the ATTORNEY , to do all the following acts and all other acts incidental thereto

1. THAT I, the GRANTOR is the absolute owner of the property comprised in the building
named “ESDE VILLA” bearing Plot No. 13, Nehru Street,Mg Road,coimbatore covering
an extent of 800 Sq. ft. , measuring East , West 60 ft., measuring 90 ft. North, more fully
described in the Schedule-I hereunder, he having acquired the same as the sole heir of his
parents.

This paragraph states about the property regarding whose protection the Grantor is willing to
appoint an attorney. This gives a detailed description of the building and its surrounding area
and also mentions that the property solely belongs to the Grantor.

2. THAT the Grantor declares that Mr. Sohan, son of Siddharth, Hindu, 45 years residing at
Plot No 14 Nehru Street,Mg Road,Coimbatore who is also a neighbour of Mr. Ram has
filed a suit against the Grantor for an injunction on the ground that he has encroached
upon his property.

The above paragraph gives a brief description of the party, who is responsible for causing
nuisance in the Grantor’s property and against whom the suit has to be filed.

3. THAT the Grantor is a 55 year old and feeble in health and that he desires to grant the
power of attending the case to Mr. Jayraj against Mr. Sohan on the injunction suit on the
ground of encroachment.
This paragraph talks about the Grantor’s current situation and under what circumstances he had
to appoint the power of attorney.

4. THAT, the Grantor with a view to defend the suit against him for the reasons stated in the
aforesaid para, desires to grant the power of attending the case to the Attorney and the
Attorney is also willing to do the same.

The above para states that both the Grantor as well the Attorney under mutual understanding
and willingness had come to terms with such agreement without any kind of force or coercion.

5. THAT the Attorney shall on and from execution of this deed shall be at liberty to contact
Mr. Satish with matters related to this suit.

This para talks about the power that has been bestowed to the Attorney with regard to his liberty
in contacting the other party in relation to the matters of the suit.

6. THAT the Attorney shall on and from have the power to represent me before the said
court or in any other, where the said suit is transferred in connection with the said suit.

The above para gives full freedom to the Attorney to represent the Grantor in any Court
wherever the suit has been transferred.

7. THAT the Attorney shall on and from have the power to engage or appoint any solicitor,
counsel, advocate, pleader or lawyer to conduct the said suit.

The above para also talks about the Attorney’s right in engaging any person whom he feels to be
essential for conducting the suit.

8. THAT the Attorney shall on and from have the power to prosecute the said suit and
proceedings, to sign and verify all plaints, pleadings, applications, petitions or documents
before the court and to deposit, withdraw and receive document and any money or
moneys from the court or from the defendant either in execution of the decree or
otherwise and sign and deliver proper receipts for me and discharges for the same.
This para talks about all the legal procedures that the Attorney has full power to do on behalf of
the Grantor. The Attorney is also empowered to sign all the documents on behalf of the Grantor.

9. THAT the Attorney shall on and from have the power to apply for inspection and inspect
documents and records, to obtain copies of documents and papers and also to
compromise the suit in such manner as the said attorney shall think fit.

This para grants the Attorney the right of inspection of any legal document related to the matters
of the suit.

10. THAT the Attorney shall on and from have the power to do generally all other acts and
things for the conduct of the said suit as I could have done the same if I were personally
present.

This is the final concluding para from the Grantor’s side stating that the Attorney will be
representing him and he have full right to do the things which the Grantor would have done with
regard to the said suit.

11. THAT the Grantor hereby reserves his right of revocation of the power granted to
Attorney at any point of time for valid reasons.

This para is to keep a check on the Attorney since, at any point of time the Grantor would have
full power to replace him if he is unsatisfied with his work.

East by: A bungalow bearing Dr.N0.14 and belonging to Mr. Manivandan

West by: A bungalow bearing Dr.No.46 and belonging to Mrs Kamakshi

And situate within the Registration and Sub-Registration district Of Coimbatore
