Improvement of compaction properties of kassu soil by using Chenab and Lawrencepur sand

PROJECT ADVISOR: PRO. DR. AZIZ AKBAR (HEAD OF GEO.TECH DIVISON U.E.T. LHR.)
Improvement of compaction properties of a silty plastic soil which is used as a backfill, by mixing it with
different percentages of sands like Chenab and lawrencepur, gave different maximum dry densities at different
percentages of moisture contents. It gave max. Compaction at their optimum moisture content.
