1.) After the verbs:

Want, decide, determine, learn, refuse, try, attempt, fail, hope, plan, agree, advise,
ask, dare, encourage, expect, desire, promise, need, swear, propose, manage, use (in the
past), wish, hesitate, allow.........

2.) To express purpose:

I came to see you.

He went to London to study English.

3.) After nouns and adjectives:

I have got some work to do.
She has everything to lose.
It was good to come home.

It is too hot to go out.

4.) After the phrases:
