Getting Started Setting Yardage for One Tablerunner
1. Purchase yardage for four 10" blocks following yardage on Purchase one set for Turkey Tablerunner and one set for
page two of Autumn Leaves Pattern. Autumn Leaf Tablerunner.
2. Following chart, cut pieces for four blocks:
Light Beige/Tan O yd
two Turkey blocks, and two Leaf blocks.
Side Triangles (1) 15H" square
3. Purchase additional fabric for Leaf setting, Turkey setting,
Center Square (1) 10H" square
and Turkey parts.
Border (2) 2" strips
Binding N yd
(3) 3" strips
Backing 1 yd
Batting 20" x 52"
Turkey Parts
Dark Brown Turkey Body & Legs (1) 5" x 9" piece
Deep Red Turkey Snood (1) 2" x 2H" scrap
Golden Yellow Turkey Beak (1) 2" x 2" scrap
Paper backed Fusible Web (1) 5" x 16"
Making Two Stem and Two Turkey Leg Blocks
1. Trace two Stems (page 4 of pattern) and two Turkey patterns (this page) on
paper side of paper backed fusible web. Cut apart on lines. Fuse on wrong
side of appropriate fabric for two seconds. Cut out pieces on lines.
2. Stems: Make two on 4H" Background squares.
Turkeys: Center legs on point on
4H" Background square.
3. Complete blocks following directions in pattern.
4. Fuse other parts of Turkey on block.
5. Zig zag or straight stitch around the outside edge.

Sewing Table Runners Together


1. Cut 15H" square in fourths on both diagonals.
2. Lay out two table runners. Place Leaves with top
points going toward outside edge, and Turkeys
with feet going toward outside edge.
3. Sew table runners together.
4. Quilt and bind.
