This timeline may include turning points such as the adoption and repeal of
laws, change of and amendments in the constitution, cases which made
precedence and other important events which, in varying extent, led to the
existing framework and/or configuration of PH torts.

3. As an offshoot of criminal law, the delineation between torts and crime lays
on a thin yet critical line. Explain the similarities and differences of these two
and explain how their relationship has changed over time in the PH context.
Discuss cases in the past, which have been subject to torts and crime divide.

4. Discuss how factual and legal causation work in the PH legal system and
identify possible weaknesses/lapses by citing torts cases. In this view,
provide recommendations as to how this can be improved.
