1. Programme overview

The Global MBA programme is a double degree offered by Xavier University in India and emlyon
business school in France, preparing you to be an international manager in this agile age of globalisation.

The intensive full-time 2 year programme is focused on helping you reach your professional goals
through quality education, hands-on experience and international exposure. Through an emphasis on an
entrepreneurial mindset, action learning projects and international diversity both in the student body
and faculty, you will develop the skills needed to achieve your own individual success.

While enjoying a truly dynamic learning experience, you will remain in touch with the business world
through the worldwide professional and alumni network.

You will spend the first year of the programme at XAVIER-EMLYON Business School located in the
campus of Xavier University in Bhubaneswar, India, an internationally recognised University dedicated to
enabling people to live extraordinary lives and be light for the world. At XAVIER-EMLYON Business
School you will work through the core courses that will cover fundamental topics and provide you with
the necessary building blocks that you must master to be a successful manager.

The second year will be held at emlyon business school in Lyon, France. emlyon is a business school
recognised for preparing its students for a successful career through action-based learning, exposure to
companies and guest speaks and through helping them develop an entrepreneurial mindset, a skill that
is necessary to be successful in today’s turbulent international business environment.

You will join the MBA programme which is globally ranked and giving you the chance to experience
studying in a European environment. At emlyon business school you will be introduced to European
business models, hands-on experience through projects and regular conferences led by international
speakers, entrepreneurs alumni and careers coaches.

Evaluation Fee (Only for shortlisted candidates): INR 5000 (waived off for CL candidates)

Application Criteria/ Eligibility

As this is a postgraduate program, the candidate must already be a university graduate or in their final
year awaiting the final results can apply. A candidate applying to this program must have at least 50% or
equivalent in aggregate in graduation from a recognized University in India or abroad.

Work Experience: Work experience is not mandatory. Applicants with or without work experience can
apply.

Additionally, applicants must have a valid score in ANYONE of the following tests: CAT or XAT or GMAT,
GRE or TAGE MAGE.

Candidates who do not have an English medium educational background would be required to submit
their English proficiency scores during application (TOEIC or TOEFL or IELTS or Cambridge CPE or PTE)
Selection Criteria

The admissions team will shortlist applications based on past academic performance, aptitude test
scores, work experience, extracurricular activities and other achievements.

Only shortlisted candidates are required to pay the Evaluation Fee and undertake online evaluation
processes which will be notified.

Only candidates who have been offered admission will be notified via email.

Note:

1. Partial scholarships may be provided.

2. Registration fees are taken every year to meet various administrative costs like subscriptions,
software, the internet, database management, learning management systems, etc. This is an annual cost
and cannot be prorated.

3. INR fees are payable to XEBS, XIM society and Euro fees are payable to Emlyon Business School
directly.

4. All airfares would be borne separately by students along with their visa, foreign accommodation, meal
costs, medical insurance and all other foreign stay expenses.

5. The tuition fees are to be paid in full before the commencement of the academic year at the time of
registration.

6. All other fees are to be paid prior to the commencement of the course/academic year.

7. University support and infrastruture fee is directly payable to Xavier University, Bhubaneswar.

Other Informations:

1. On-campus housing accommodation on twin sharing basis is available with room rent of Rs. 42,000
per year to be paid directly to Xavier University, Bhubaneswar. This does not include food and meals,
which shall be borne by students directly.

2. On-campus housing is compulsory in India and a student cannot stay off-campus. The program
demands much preparation, group study and peer learning. Staying together on campus facilitates a
smoother learning process for all participants, allowing them to benefit from teamwork, individual
talents, cross-cultural exposure and more.

3. All airfares would be borne separately by students along with their visa, foreign accommodation, meal
costs, medical insurance and all other foreign stay expenses.

4. All other fees are to be paid prior to the commencement of the course/academic year.

Partial Scholarshipsmay be provided up to a maximum of 20% only in the second year

20% - 650 Score and above in GMAT, 90 percentile and above in CAT/ XAT

10% - 600 Score and above in GMAT, 85 percentile and above in CAT/ XAT
 2. First Indian State/Nationality Scholarship – 20%

3. Executive Woman Scholarship – 20%

4. Early bird scholarship – 20% (for first 50 students)

5. Alumni Recommendation – 10%

6. Chairman’s Scholarship – 10%

The scholarships may or may not be accrued. This will depend on the discretion of the selection
committee

Career Advisory Services would be provided to the students to engage meaningfully with Industry and
help explore career opportunities for themselves.
