Thank you, Johnny Gentlemen, 1am writing to update the members of a meeting that | had last week with Vice Chairman Worley, Mr. Hardee and Mr. Allen concerning a possiale severance package for county administrator Chris Eldridge. We are all in agreement that this needs to happen and soon. However we did not agree on the timing. Mr. Worley thinks we should wait a couple weeks while the rest of us think we should approach Mr. Eldridge as soon as possible. | do not see any benefit to waiting a couple of weeks. | think the sooner we get this behind us the sooner we can move forward with the county's business as a unified council would remind council that we have already been one week since that vote, so waiting two weeks would be next week. |lam asking for two volunteers to go with me to discuss the severance package with Mr. Eldridge. | have thought about this and | think it would be fair and balanced to have one member from each side of last week's 6-6 vote, one member who voted yes and one member who voted no.
