ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACT
To assist users of Boilers and to obtain maximum possible steam Generation at the
lowest operational cost, we offer the following Boiler Inspection & Service Contract to
you.

 OBJECTIVES
1. To ensure maximum availability of Steam Generation.
2. To maintain maximum fuel economy.
3. To ensure operation and maintenance cost.
4. To avoid surprise breakdown by timely scheduled maintenance.
5. To provide operation and maintenance guidelines to the operating personnel.
6. To plan in advance for spare parts requirements management of inventory.
7. To enhance reliability.

 BENEFITS TO USER
1. We provide proper guidelines of preventive maintenance & replacement
schedule keeping in mind the designed parameters of each component of Boiler.
2. Since our technicals / engineer’s visits to your plant, we monitor all parameters
of running of Boilers and hence can plan forthcoming repairs in advance. Therefore, there
are no surprise expensive breakdowns.
3. We provide guidelines to the customer for modifications, changes & product up
gradation resulting out of technical advancement, thereby any customer in case wants to
update the machine in order to get better output, facilities are made available.
4. Above all, a small piece of advice at appropriate time form an expert can save
expensive repairs and of course precious time.
5. To operate plant with optimum inputs and thereby saving money.

 SCOPE OF WORK

1. INSPECTION

⇒ Visuals checks of the Boiler six times during the year.

⇒ Checks under running condition of Boiler & Steam Generation.
⇒ Check and diagnose improper functioning of systems / components and
take remedial steps.
⇒ Ensuring timely maintenance & upkeep of boiler.
⇒ Analyze and prevent minor repair becoming major & expensive.

 LIMITS OF THE PROPOSAL

1. We shall depute the engineer technician as per schedule agreed upon. In case
any change is required in the program a written confirmation at least 3 days in advance will
be required.
2. The maintenance contract is taken for the boiler, which is in working order, and
not for carrying out any major repairs or overhaul. In case the boiler requires any major repair
or overhaul, a separate estimate / offer will be submitted and boiler will be repaired if agreed
upon. All consumables will be on customer’s account.
3. Customer has to provide all preventive maintenance, spares, breakdown
spares and consumables, if any shall be on Customer’s account.
4. Visits will be performed during week’s working days only. In case, customer
requires any visit during week – ends or Public Holidays, the Customer has to pay additional
charges @ Rs. 600/- per day.
5. Due to forced reasons, if we are unable to depute our engineer / technician as
per schedule we shall organize to send engineer / technician on next earliest possible date
with prior intimation and subsequent confirmation from your end.

6. We reserve the rights to call back our engineer / technician and provide
replacement if compelled by unavoidable and unforeseen accidental circumstances.
7. The charges do not include workman’s compensation, insurance ESI any such
charges for the workman provided by the user to assist our engineer. We shall not accept
any responsibility for any damage to equipment property or injury to customer’s workman for
any reason.
8. Any deduction on account of income tax shall be recovered from ISCON
Customer will provide necessary Certificate for the same on time.
9. In case the advance is consumed before completion of 12 months due to extra
days spent in same visits, the customer shall pay extra amount at the time of continuity or
renewal of the contract.
10. Customer has to provide suitable Office and lockable facilities for technicians
and for visiting engineer (S) on free of charges basis.
11. In case of the deferred visits desired rather than the scheduled programme
customer has to inform us at least 3 days in advance.
12. Customer will provide skilled and unskilled labour, general workshop tools and
facilities, consumables and spare parts required for maintenance of repairs.
13. Customer will sign the reports prepared by our engineers / technicians.
14. All recommended spares, consumables to be provided in time to carry out
schedule maintenance by ISCON.
15. Customer has to provide accommodation for boilers engineers and technicians
including To – Fro convince from nearest railway station/ bus stand.

1. Any job not related to Boiler maintenance.
2. Heat Exchanger / Radiator, I. D. & F. D. Fans, Ducts, Water Softeners etc.
cleaning will be arranged from customer end. ISCON can only supervise or it can
be organized by ISCON at extra cost.
3. Overhauling job & approval of certificate from CIB will not be covered under
AMC.

 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Validity of the proposal

The proposal shall remain valid for 30 days from submission for placement of a
firm order with advance.

2. Duration of the Contract

Minimum duration of the contract against this proposal shall be 12 months and
thereafter subject to review and revision.

3. Payment Terms
100% shall be paid in advance along with Work Order.
4. Service Charges
Our rates for entering into a service contract with you for the Boiler is L.S.
Rs.67,500 per (Sixty Seven thousand five hundred only) .
This agreement is mutually confirmed by both the parties signing this contract.
