1. Take the pupils on a school tour and name the places along the way.

2. Distribute different maps/tasks to each group.
3. Each group needs to match the phrases to the selected places in the maps.

Activity 3 (Assessment) (15 minutes):
1. Teacher guides the pupils toconstruct a legible print in simple sentences with
correct spelling and punctuation accurately by writing the correct directions in the
blanks (Level 2 & 3) – Refer Year One Activity Book(page 26)
2. Pupils construct a legible print in simple sentences with correct spelling and
punctuation accurately by writing the correct directions in the blanks without
guidance(Level 4)- Refer Year One Activity Book (page 26)
3. Pupils rewrite a legible print in simple sentences with correct spelling and
punctuation accurately by transferring the sentences into their exercise books.
( Level 5) – Refer Year One Activity Book/exercise book (page 26)
