Reasons for Attendance shortage

The student had attended only 54 classes out of 85 before Mid exams -1 and the
attendance percentage was 63 for which the student’s Explanation is, he went home for some
personal reasons. After mid 1 he attended 84 classes out of 87 before mid-2 which gives almost
97 percent which shows that his performance after mid-1 is pretty good. But when the
cumulative attendance of both the durations is taken into consideration it came down to 72
percent. The student counselling has been conducted and it is found that he has no problems
with his academics.

From this report I would like to conclude that the student did not attend some of the
classes before Mid Exams-1, as he went home on his personal work. After that his attendance
was good and he has no problem with his academics.
