LETTER OF APPOINTMENT FOR A FIXED TERM EMPLOYMENT

To,

Dear Sir/Madam

In response to your application dated ________ and your subsequent interview, we have
the pleasure in offering to employ you in our Company as _________ on the following
terms and conditions.

1. Nature of
Employment : Your appointment is purely tenure based/purely on
contractual basis at _____ project. The employment shall
be for a period of _____ year or the completion of the
project without requiring the management either to give
any notice or compensation on such termination.

2. Commencement
Of employment : Your employment commences from the * date of your
joining or with effect from ________

3. Salary/Wages : You will be paid a consolidated salary of Rs. _____ per


month and the Company is entitled to effect there from
statutory deductions, if any, (if any other allowances are
payable, they can also be mentioned.

4. Transfer/Deputation : The management reserves it’s right to transfer or depute


you for work to any of its units and establishments existing
or to be set up in future or from one shift to another at any
time during your tenure of employment.

5. Duties and
Responsibilities : You shall discharge your duties with utmost discipline,
devotion, diligence and efficiency and should be punctual
and regular in your attendance. The Management expects
you to meet the production norms, stipulates from time to
time.

6. Confidentially : You shall not divulge to any person / Company/ Firm/


Establishments, any knowledge, information, production
processes, methods, ideas etc. concerning the Company ,
which you might acquire during the tenure of your
employment.

7. Miscellaneous : During the tenure of your employment, you will be bound


by the Standing Orders/Rules/Regulations or terms of
appointment if any, made from time to time relating to
your service conditions.
If any information furnished by you at the time of your
employment, is found false, the Company reserves it’s
right to terminate your employment without notice or
salary in lieu thereof. Your continuance in job is subject
To your medical fitness. During the tenure of your work,
if no work is available, for any reason, whatsoever, you
will be laid off without salary/compensation.
( Note: if Standing Orders? Rules provide for payment of
salary/compensation, the same is payable)
8. Address for
Communication : You are required to inform any change in residential
address, at which communications can be sent.
if the above terms and conditions are acceptable to you,
please return the copy of this letter duly signed in token
of having accepted the same. You are required to report
for duty.

9. Other benefits : You will not be entitled to any other benefit as admissible
to permanent employees except the statutory benefit, if
any.

9. Restrictive
Covenants : While in employment of the Company you will devote
your whole-time attention to the company and will not
engage yourself for gain or otherwise in any other
employment, avocation, business nor will you undertake
any course or study or training without written
permission of the management.

10. Termination : Notwithstanding what is contained in clause no.1 above,


your services during the tenure can also be terminated by
giving 48 hours notice and without assigning any reason.

11.Settlement of
Accounts : On termination of your employment for whatsoever
reason, you will immediately hand over documents,
specifications, data or any other article or property of the
company entrusted to you to enable the company to
settle your accounts.
