REASON FOR ABSENCE FROM EWC661 (ENGLISH FOR REPORT WRITING)

CLASS ON 3 SEPTEMBER 2018

With reference to the above matter, I was absent from class on 3 September 2018 due
to bouts of fever.

For your kind information, I was stranded at the bus stop during a heavy downpour a
day earlier. That afternoon, I suffered from runny nose and by evening, it developed into
a full blown fever. I was not strong enough to go to the clinic so I took some panadol
tablets to ease the fever.

I would like to apologise for my inability to attend class. I will take better care of my
health in future. I really hope for your kind consideration.
