The tab is based on the Boije 1129 / Schott edition (which is the same as
the Rischel & Birket-Smith / Mayence & Anvers edition). The Carl Fischer
edition has the following variation in measure 23 -

The given left hand fingering for measure 23 in the Carl Fisher edition
is of course impossible, but the notes are playable, though difficult and
unsuitable for a beginner. However with an open E on the 6th string
instead of an F, the fingering given in the variation is ok -
