THE MANAGEMENT ASPECT

In this section, it implies a clear description of the form of business organization

that is best suited for the proposed subject, the organizational structure, the number of

personnel needed, their qualifications, their compensation, and the projected time table

before the project is implemented. It must be set up for optimum effectiveness. The

management aspect describes the duties and responsibilities of each employee. In order

for the business to be successful, the functions of the management such as planning,

organizing, staffing, directing and controlling will be applied. One of the assets of

successful businesses is its competitive staffs.

Form of Ownership

The form of the establishment of the proposed business will be a sole proprietorship,

a type of business entity that is owned and run by one natural person and in which there is

no legal distinction between the owner and the business. The owner is in direct control of

all elements and is legally accountable for the finances of such business and this may

include debts, loans, loss etc. In addition to this, there are some advantages associated

with this legal form of business which are listed as follows;

1. It is easy to organize and the cost of organization is minimal.

2. The sole owner is also the sole beneficiary of whatever profits the business firm

makes.

3. Government requirements and restrictions are less stringent.

4. This is an ease in terminating the business anytime if the owner wishes to do so.
The organizational structure of the business will be designed as a line type which

is typical with a small organization. This type of structure provides with a cleaner line of

authority from the ultimate management to every subordinate and more effective in

responsible decision-making and organizational communication.

Job Analysis

This part describes the policies needed in the business. The assumptions are based

on the number of personnel of the business. Job analysis includes the Job Title, Job

Description, Job Specification, and Job Title refers to the name of the position.

1. Manager/Owner

Job Description

The Manager/Owner will be responsible for the entire team to work in their most

efficient, effective and profitable way. He is also responsible in managing the overall

operations of the business, dealing with issues regarding customers such as their

complaints and sentiments even though the fact is the customers are not always right. In

order to effectively perform the multitude of tasks required, managers should work well

under pressure and with deadlines, and have significant experience in retail business and

human resources.Furniture Store Managers oversee daily operations in retail

establishments selling furniture. These professionals interact both with clients and

employees and are responsible for budgeting, recruiting and training staff, networking

with suppliers, managing displays, maintaining supplies, and providing customer service.
Functions

- The manager or owner is responsible in assembling the best possible

teams.

- Responsible for maintaining the overall operations of the business to avoid

unnecessary problem within and outside the business.

- The major duty of the owner/manager is to ensure that the customers are

feeling safe and comfortable in the business and to ensure a close

relationship with employees.

Qualification Standards

- First to consider is that he must be a graduate of any business related course.

- In terms of working experience, he must have at least half or one year experience

related to business and must undergo skill trainings.

- Nowadays, emotional quotient is one big factor. He must be emotionally and

physically fit to be preferably known as store manager/owner.

2. Workers

Job Description

A tire furniture production worker will be expected to provide customers with a

quick and accurate service and show sensitivity to their individual needs. They are

responsible for producing, designing, crafting, and testing tire products such as sala set,

table, chairs, and other pieces of furniture.

Functions
- Design and produce recycled rubber tire products.

- Repair wooden and tire furniture.

- Add fasteners and adhesives and connect the pieces to form a complete unit.

- Set-up, operate and tend drill presses, shapers, and nailing machines.

Qualification Standards

- He must be at least high school graduate

- The worker must possess a positive attitude. He must emotionally and physically

fit to the job being taken of.

- Capable of working under pressure and should not have criminal records.

Hiring and Training Program

Management are the ultimate responsible for hiring and training of their

employees. The goal of an organization is to select employees who are best fitted to the

job description and specifications. Selecting and hiring the best employee is one of the

important factors that can determine the success of a business. Training happens after

employees are hired. Training will give employees a great experience. It is beneficial to

employees as well as the company to have a continuous training inside and outside the

business.

Salaries and Benefits

The salaries of employees shall be computed on a monthly basis and paid not later

than the 30th day of each month. Employees will be compensated based on their position

and performance.
