We ask forgiveness from all of you— to all those we have offended, disappointed and
have caused inconvenience in anyway. Know that we are a work in progress, and we
rejoice for those who have given their corrections and oppositions for they taught us
to respect the opinions of others and realized that we should not think highly of

OUTREACH PROGRAM IN PAYATAS 


The first Outreach Program of the SC: Back-2-Back
Seminar on Marketing and Image Building and Media
and Information Literacy in Partnership with Puno-Masa
Methodist Youth Fellowship was held in Payatas
Quezon City on August 26, 2018.
44 youth with some adults participated in the activity.
They came from different schools like Payatas B
Elementary School, Polytechnic University of the
Philippines, New Era University, Our Lady of Fatima
University, Bestlink Colleges of the Philippines, Quezon
City Polytechnic University, Collegio de Montalban,
Justice Cecilia Muñoz Palma High School, Harris
Memorial College, National College of Business and
Arts, Fairview Elementary School, Batasan Hills National
High School, University of Rizal System, Metro Manila
College and ICCT College. They expressed their thanks
to the speakers and for the new insights and
knowledge they gained.
The  Graduate  School  Students  made a surprise tribute to Dean  Julian
Abuso led by Ms.  Laarni  J. de Belen and Ms. Roselle Marie Caduduan to
honor his contribution and dedication, for being innovative and a visionary.
With the support of  Dr. Alberto T.  Paala, Jr., the students dramatically
marched to the center of the stage with flash cards saying, “Thank you
Dean. We love you.” They also gave him his favorite delicacies:
dried  danggit  from Cebu & Kapeng  Barako  from  Batangas. A  framed
photograph of the Dean with  congratulatory  messages from
various graduate school students, faculty and chancellors was also given to
him.
The teary-eyed Dean gladly accepted the gifts and thanked the students for
their sincerity and thoughtfulness. In his response, he promised to
continually lead the  UE  Graduate School to fly high and be relevant not
only to the UE community but to the rest of the country.
