BUSINESS OBJECTIVES: Appropriate management and maintenance of the Councils’ roads and associated infrastructure, including street lighting. The provision of a winter maintenance service. To provide a response to
extraordinary events which threaten public safety or the environment, eg. weather related incidents, road traffic accidents, coastal oil spills, etc. Provision of a Fleet Management service to vehicle and plant user. Procurement,
management and maintenance of the Council’s fleet of vehicles and plant. Inspection of Moray Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles. Provision of a Central Stores service for Direct Services and other user sections.
