Economic Thoughts and Principles of Shah Waliullah Dhelvi (R.A)

Abstract : Shah Waliullah Dhelvi (R.A) is considered and believed most influential figure and prolific writer in the history of in
sub-continent. His ideology and philosophy are root and foundation of almost all contemporary interpretations of Islamic
thoughts whether they belonged to fundamentalists or modernists and all religious moments are looking affected by his
intellectual inspiration. The most precious thing that makes him unique and distinguished is that he does not believe in

disintegration into the human activities, but his systematic nature compelled him to find out the roots and principles which are
making comprehensive integrity into the various domains of human activities, that why he does not see separation between
economics and ethics, he has extremely believed that they are complementary to one another. In that way if we study the Shah
Waliullah moments, that he is not looking just a writer or preacher of Islam, but his main aim and purpose is looking to
establish an ideally, morally and altruistic society. In this regard, this article contains economic thoughts and principles of
Shah Waliullah Dhelvi. In the contemporary time, Muslims states are riddled with a lot of crisis and storms of turmoil are
throwing to the starvation and increasing poverty and clouds of hopeless are pushing darkness.In this article we have shown
there is a dire need to understand the economic thoughts of Shah Waliullah and implement them into the society, they are
beacons which can lit lantern in our dark world and they are guidelines which will ingrain a passion of hope and wipe out the
viruses of hopeless.
