NOTICE OF IMPLEMENTING
ELECTRONIC DELIVERY ORDER (EDO)
IN VIP GREENPORT
FROM 04th APRIL 2019

Dear Valued Customers,

We are glad to update you that we have successfully implemented the new process of import cargo
delivery in VIP GREENPORT terminal – Cargo release through Electronic Delivery Order (EDO) through
the pilot phase (since Nov.2018). This is the initiative jointly implemented and pioneered by SEALAND –
A Maersk Company and VIP GREENPORT (VGR).

Following the accomplishment of 100% implementation of eDO at CAT LAT port; as well as the success
of the pilot shipments to VIP GREENPORT during last period and good feedbacks from customers, from
04th APRIL 2019 we will launch the full implementation of this initiative for 100% shipments to VIP
GREENPORT.

1. With EDO process, we bring below benefits to you:

_ No waiting time at Sealand Maersk/ Vip
Greenport office

No travelling to Sealand Maersk office for
Delivery Order or to terminal for manual Cargo
delivery registration.
All is now done via email (with Sealand Maersk)
and Eport (with VGR)!!

2. Full process of Cargo Delivery with EDO is as following:

• Customer settles payment of all charges (local charge, deposit, DMR if incurred) to Sealand
Maersk & sends eDO request via email to Sealand Maersk Customer Service at
vn.import@sealandmaersk.com
o Note: if customer is using gmail/yahoo mail/ email address from 3rd party (not consignee),
please attach the Authorization letter from the Consignee to validate the email address

• Customer Service validate the request; send the eDO (PDF file) to requestor’s email and update
EDI data to Terminal (VGR). (eDO template can be found in page 3)
• Customer inputs into Eport (VGR) the information as per eDO from Sealand Maersk, proceeds
payment of port services and gets Equipment Interchange Order (EIO) generated from Eport to
pick up container at terminal.
o Attention: The same process can also be applied to Forwarders and Service provider.

3. To be able to implement this new process, please have the Eport access (Company Access)
registration with below supports:

nghiep.doc), validate the form with authorized signature and stamp, send the scanned copy of
signed form to VGR’s email: com@vipgreenport.com.vn
