I. OBJECTIVE
A. Content Standards The learner demonstrates appreciation of contemporary art forms, found in
the various region by understanding the elements and principles
B. Performance The learner present presents a form of integrated contemporary art based on
Standards the region his/her choice. e.g choreography, musical instrument, literary and
music composition, visual design, and/or theatrical performance.
C. Learning At the end of these sessions, the students will be able to:

Introductory Activity A. Preliminary Activities

Discuss the lesson`s specific learning outcomes to the class
Activity/Strategy Motivation:
Display a picture on the board related to contemporary Arts in the
Philippines.
( ex. Church)
Let the students orally share their ideas/ thought on the picture
shown on the board
Analysis In a group of 4, the students will do the following tasks:
Group 1 : Dance (Folk/ ethnic/ Festival dance popular in the locality)
Group 2 : Visual Arts (in their locality if available)
Group 3 : Theater Arts (Role Play)
Group 4: Music (Musical Performance)
The groups will have an oral feedback based from the performance from the
other group.
The teacher will ask the learners their concept on the contemporary arts.
