3. Sunny Breakfast shop sells one cup of milk tea for $25 and one cup of
coffee for $30. Last Tuesday, they sold 200 cups of milk tea and 190

4. On Tuesday, Jeff completed 33 Rubik’s cubes. On average, he


finished each one in 144 seconds. Dora finished 19 Rubik’s cubes.

Players: Pairs of two

Materials: Decks of cards with face cards and 10s removed. Ace = 1.

How to Play: 1. Players split the deck of cards evenly.

2. At the same time, they flip over five cards.

3. Make two of them a two-digit number and the other three a


three-digit number.

4. You can put the numbers in any positions you want to.

5. Multiply. The highest product wins all 5 cards.

1. There are 4.5 liters of milk in a pot. A chef stirs in 1.2 liters of water.

2. The baker took out 54.8 g of butter but then found out that he
took out 6.9 g of butter more than he needed. How much butter

3. There are 19.3 cups of flour in a bag. The chef uses 2.9 cups for making
cookies. Then, he uses 5.1 cups of flour for making banana bread. How
many cups of flour are left?

4. The chef is making 10.5 batches of dinner rolls. For each batch, he
kneaded dough for 0.7 hours and let the dough rest for 1.6 hours. Then
he baked the dough for 0.4 hours. How long does it take to make each
batch of dinner rolls?

Decimals on a Line
Directions:

1. Player A picks two numbers from the group 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 10, 16, 20, 24, and 25.
Players may not pick the same number twice for their turn (like choosing 10
and 10)

2. Player A makes a fraction out of the two numbers and writes it in the table on
the game board.

3. Player A makes the fraction into a decimal, records the decimal number in the
table, and records the same decimal number on the game board (written in
their chosen color).

4. Player B takes a turn, following directions 1-3.

5. The goal is for a player to get four numbers in a row on the number line in
their color.

6. If a player makes a decimal number that has already been written or is not
possible to place on the board (because it only goes to 5), the player loses their
turn. However, the fraction they made and the decimal they calculated can
still be written in the table.
