What quality/qualities a Miss Universal Goddess should have?

And what values in your country that you

have learned that would help you to promote or aim universal love, peace, unity and harmony?

Good Morning Everybody. This is Maria Jose Lora representing “The Land of the Incas”, Lima, Peru.

A Miss Universal Goddess should possess the good qualities of honesty, hospitality, understanding, unity,
strong, and many more to name a few.

HONESTY because in this modern world of today, there are people who take advantage of their
comrades, there are people who are liars and commit mistakes but they do not admit if it is their
mistake. As an epitome of a Miss Universal Goddess charisma, a person should employ an attitude that
exemplify this virtue. A person would not be a person in their whole life if he/she will not aim to become
an upright one. Being an upright person has sacrificed a lot just to be honest in all of his/her dealings.

HOSPITABLE; Filipinos are well-known all over the world for being hospitable but the Peruvians in
America are also well-accommodating to the people they meet even if it’s their first time. Concern, care,
and love compose the recipe to be a hospitable person. They said that it is the first time you meet him
but still you have a little aroma of CARE, CONCERN AND LOVE TO HIM/HER. After all, we are both
wanderers of this world and we do not fully own the magical place that we are residing. God gave this to
us and he told everyone that we share what we have and it should come from the heart.

UNDERSTANDING, in a sense that we came from 225 countries and more to say. There are varieties of
culture, practices, beliefs, and religion but we are interconnected with one aim. To understand and
respect each culture, because it is the only way that love will not make its elusive presence closed; if we
treat every individuals with love, then peace will automatically come along. They worked hand-in-hand
to give an important message to everybody, which is the spread of OPEN UNDERSTANDING. In addition,
with that, peace, respect, and love will easily flow into our hearts.

UNITY, our world of today is sundry; there is a decline in respect, good treatment, and love. However,
one thing that caught my attention is unity. If every single individual regardless of race, culture and
beliefs are united; then the possibility of having us lived in one settlement is pretty much high. It is just a
matter of appreciation and open-mindedness. We are literally diverse and far from each other but united
by heart.

STRONG. It has been a long time that a weak person is just situated in his/her own self not even doing
anything. The world kept on spinning around and the things that we usually do changes from time to
time. The new version of being strong has connived with the idea of adaptability, there are different
issues that needs our attention, and if we succumb then we are just like those weak people who did not
survive challenges of catastrophe. We are now in the 21 st century world. And we are expected to be
adaptable this time.

The values in my country that I can impart to help promote universal love, peace, unity and harmony is
being HOSPITABLE and RESPECTFUL. We, Peruvians are very welcoming into who are we going to have a
social interaction with, even if they are strangers, we welcome them. With that, we also engage them in
activities that will help us bond and employ love. And with being hospitable, earning respect is not
elusive to be given. A person can give you his/her trust if you really know them well, and if the idea of
secrecy is being applied.

My fellow Peruvians and I, also believe that respect begets respect, love begets love. This is the most
important virtue that can help the ideals of Miss Universal Goddess be maintained. Having respect to
each individuals in the world, the world will not suffer the damages of war rather it is a good help to stop
the prolonging agony of it. With RESPECT and being HOSPITABLE and if only the people adhere to this
point-of-view then there will be no traceable patterns of chaos in this world and pandemonium is not
the ultimate choice. We can attain a HARMONIOUS world, full of people’s HARMONY.

That would be all. Thnk you much to everybody.

Good Morning Bacolod! Good Morning Dyosa ng Pilipinas 2019!

As a proud Albayana and Bicolano! We are living in a 21 st century that are full of new culturally based
initiatives that somehow targeted our very own culture to phase-out and change eventually. My premier
advocacy is about the preservation of the native Filipino culture as we traverse to 21 st century culture of
the world. Filipinos are known all-over the world for being hospitable, loving and caring people with a
hundred percentage. It is very important to preserve this culture in order for us to maintain the true
Filipino traits and practices as the technology years goes by. There are something from us that the other
nations don’t have. This is the main reason why those foreigners love our hospitality and the nature of
being polite; also the reason why foreigners return after some time spending in their own country. And
with that, it is indeed true that “It’s More Fun in the Philippines”.

Part of our culture are the natural resources, there are beautiful beaches and islands that are magnet as
it attracts people not just in the home country but also in the world. There are are times in our history
that Filipinos were robbed of their own culture, replaced by the foreigner’s ideas and practices. Spanish,
Americans and Japanese paved way to the colonial mentality, FILIPINOS are slave of their own country;
we used to accommodate and use the Korean Pop culture, idolizing KPOP Artists and their outfits yet we
do not acknowledge the assimilation of our own Filipino culture to ourselves.

So here I am, aiming for the preservation of our traditional culture; the use of Baro’t Saya, Filipino foods,
Filipino language, practices and belief, that in the years to come it should survive the wave as the world
is continually changing the beat. We should uphold the idea of “Filipino First Policy by former President
Carlos P. Garcia”. ‘Think Globally, Act Locally”
