About the Programme
As a developing country, India is going through
enormous technological advancement in design
and manufacturing of rotary systems. To match
the pace of development, various innovative
methods are being used in manufacturing,
construction industries as well as in allied
disciplines.
The workshop aims to enlighten about the recent
techniques and various methods of vibration
measurement used in the field of mechanical
system for condition monitoring and fault
diagnosis of rotary systems. Technical sessions on
various techniques of fault diagnosis applied in
the field of turbo machinery and machines will be Mechanical Engineering Department
delivered by eminent researchers from reputed
organizations.
This special course mainly focuses on the topics
condition monitoring techniques, vibration
measurement, vibration analysis and fault
diagnosis with industrial case studies.

The Institution of Engineering Technology (IET)
The IET is one of the world’s largest multi-
discipline professional societies of engineers and

The IET is licensed from the Engineering Council,
UK, to award prestigious professional engineering
qualifications like Chartered Engineer (CEng),
Incorporated Engineer (IEng), Engineering
Technician (EngTech) and ICT Technician
(ICTTech).
Department of Mechanical Engineering was
established in the year 1995, approved by AICTE
New Delhi and affiliated to Pune University.
Department of Mechanical Engineering has been
accredited by NBA, AICTE, and New Delhi. The
department runs in two shifts. This is one of the
major departments in the institute with sanctioned
intake of 120 in first shift and 60 in second shift.

areas of Mechanical Engineering and expose them
to the world of work.
