This document summarizes a student project to create an IOT based robotic arm that can be controlled through hand gestures from anywhere in the world using wireless connectivity. The robotic arm can pick up and drop objects and aims to allow control without needing an operator on site. It uses a WiFi module to send data to a server and receive commands from the server to enable remote control. The project aims to make robotic arms more accessible for normal and disabled users by providing gesture-based control from a distance. Future work may include increasing the system's reliability through faster internet and expanding its capabilities.

“IOT Based Hand Gesture Controlled Robotic Arm” Name of the Student’s: 1.VIVEK RAHANGDALE, 2.KETAN MENDHE, 3.YUVRAJ RAHANGDALE, 4.AKASH MATE, 5.CHAITALI DIGRASE Name of the Guide: Dr. S. L. Haridas Session: 2018-2019 Abstract: The project is implementation of IOT over existing system that is “controlling of Robotic arm with hand gesture signal using Bluetooth technology”. This project can be used in dangerous environment as well as at remote areas. The fetching of data to the server from transmitter is done using Wi-Fi module, similarly the data from server goes to Wi-Fi at receiver. Here we are using free server for hosting. To make the project run in remote areas we used here IP camera. The Robotic arm is ambulatory, able to pick and drop the objects.
Introduction: Work done: Conclusion and Future scope:
Robotic arm is mechanical system which can be used for lifting Conclusion: & dropping of things to lighten the work of humans. First The system is made to use by normal people as well as by especially able Robotic arm used to controlled electronically by remote or may people, whole controlling can be done by gesture only. Presence of operator at particular work place is not mandatory he/she can operate the system from be gesture but data goes via wire, then a wireless technology his/her place. came out that is Bluetooth that reduced wire complexity and Future scope: implemented to control the robotic arm .But the limitation of ➢ In future if speed of internet increases then the system will more reliable ‘Bluetooth controlled Robotic arm” is its limited range and to use. If this, multiple operations this system can perform smoothly. that’s why a new methodology needs to be implemented. Three ➢ Evolution in Robotic arm will lead to use the system in critical technologies which are fascinating today are IOT, AI and applications. Machine learning. So here instead of Bluetooth IOT is implemented.
