April 7, Sun.- Fellowship Meal his month will be a fundraiser for the Bible quizzing.
April 17, Wed.-Bowmansville District Sewing Circle will meet in the morning and afternoon.
All are welcome to help knot comforters, quilt, or sew on the sewing machine. The project for
this month is Infant Care Kits. A kit includes the following new items. Kits can be brought to
the church and Sewing Circle will see they are taken to MCC for distribution.
Contents (NEW items only, sizes 3-12 months), 3 gowns/sleepers (flannel or similar warm,
soft material), 3 undershirts/onesies (short or long sleeves), 1 receiving blanket (lightweight
fleece or flannel, minimum 30 in x 30 in, larger sizes preferred), 4 large, heavy-duty safety
pins, 1 large bar mild soap (leave in wrapper), 1 pair of socks, 1 cap. To pack, remove
packaging material (except from soap) and fold into the receiving blanket. Fasten together
with the safety pins.
April 24, Wed.- 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. - Spring Senior Day at Woodcrest Retreat. Daryl Weaver, LMC
Bishop of the Martindale District will be share in the morning, followed by his family sharing
their musical gifts in the afternoon. Lunch provided. Freewill offering. Call 717-738-2233 for
reservations by April 19.
April 26-28 - Ladies Retreat- All ladies are invited to attend the annual Ladies Retreat in
Belleville. The sign-up sheets, both attendance and food, are on the display table in the
narthex. Fun, food and spiritual input by Joyce Stoner will all be part of the weekend.

helped to cover one week of the summer (normally 3 days) with volunteers needed to
