The Story Behind the Idea

In 2017 I was came to Delhi for some work and

on that time I was stay in hotel and location is
Karol bagh and Karol is a very big market for
mobile and garments and it is one of the most
crowded markets in Delhi. So on that time 2
persons have fight for parking space because
that time parking was full and space is very
limited. I am also phase parking problems but
every time I ignored it.
Research
Traveling has become a part of everyday life and it is more
comfortable in a car. We option a car for traveling to have a better
comfortability. But searching and waiting for a parking slot spoils
all the comfort.

Parking it is one of the biggest problems in India and people in

India are phase with this problem for a long time because of lack
of sufficient space in the parking and now the families getting
smaller and the total number of motor vehicles exceeding the
total number of heads per family, the parking scenario is woefully
falling short of the current requirement in the country.

The situation is such that on any given working day approximately

40% of the roads in urban India are taken up for just parking the
cars. the problem has been further exacerbated by the fact that
now a days even people from low income group are able to own
cars.

The search for parking spaces in the parking lots in commercial

areas is frustrating for many people in India.
 Parking Process & research
The current process in the parking system is too old and very basic process. Most of the parking in India they
are not used computers and security systems and they will maintain the record in register and they will not
used information boards for available parking or not and mostly they are working on the papers. The vehicle
receipt is so small and the slip easily can miss by the user and receipt paper is very low quality.

Most of the parking's in India are very congested because of too many vehicles park in the parking lot and
parking management does not know exact figure he does not how many vehicles are park after that to put and
exiting vehicle is so difficult.

In the parking they don’t have security systems and most of the vehicles are such that they have no idea. Like
who is owner of this vehicle?, how long vehicle are park in the parking? And most of the criminals they can
easily park the vehicle in the parking.

Parking Management does not show the policies and information about parking.
 Key Points
 15 to 20 Minutes are wasted per drive in the search of parking.

 60% Plans are dropped due to unavailability of parking.

 30% of road congestion and pollution is due to vehicles looking for parking.

 40% of peoples thinks that the parking is safe or not.(Vehicle stole, Petrol, Damage vehicle)

 70% of people are afraid to lose the vehicle slip.

 Most of the peoples are not know what is the process of vehicle stole, receipt loss and parking management
does not show the proper process for these problems.

 Unavailability of parking space.  Extra Fares.

 It is very difficult to park and exiting the vehicle.  No helmet Locker Facility

 There is no security of vehicle in the parking.  Very congested space in the parking

 There are so many hidden charges.

vehicle receipt etc.

 User cannot find nearby parking's.

 There is no facility for book the space in advance.

Design Solution
 The top purpose of designing the app is to lessen the workload of people. The app is indented in
an uncomplicated way with very easy steps. Once you open the app, it will take you all the way
from tracking the spot to booking. Users of any age or any background can use the app smoothly.

 The idea is that app. Will help for each and every user to phase the parking problems.

 This app. Will search nearby parking's around you. and this app will show each every information
about parking related. Like- Parking details, Parking status, Fare, Space availability etc.

 There are some features in this application that are very helpful to every users. Like Advance
booking user can easily book the space. And some peoples whose parking receipt is lost so in this
app. Will feature a digital receipt. User can easily save the receipt.

 Apart from this, the other features include Monthly passes, Events parking, online payment etc.

Rohit (23) he is college going student This Sunday, Rohit has to go

to an event with his friends and Rohit went to a event last month
and there he could not find a place to park his bike. And Rohit
does not want this to happen this time too. So he can open the
Google and search parking apps so he found parking station app
he can check the features according to his needs and he can
install the application and check the features and rohit found an
option for advance booking. He enters the event location and
find the space and hopefully space is available he can choose the
vehicle and add 2 bikes for his and friend. He can add Bikes
numbers and select payment mode. He reached the event place
and parks the bikes very easy with the help of parking station
app.
User Scenarios-2
Akanksha (33) she is working professional women every weekend
she is going to the market for shopping sometimes he will go to
the market their own vehicle and every time has phase the
problem (parking is full) and she does not know that there are
more parking around him. She can share this problem to his
friend. His friend says you can download parking station app and
this app. Will definitely solve the problem. So she can download
the application and check the features. So Akanksha had to go
market very urgently she reached the market and check the
status for parking space through parking station app. She can
open the location and check nearby parking’s. She can select
parking icon and check the status so the parking space is
available and she can navigate the location through map and
reached the parking and finally she will park his vehicle very
easily.
