New better managed technology which has been neglected will allow Waterbury Symphony
Orchestra to better deliver on its Mission.
1. Introduction
Narrative
Waterbury Symphony Orchestra is a 501(c) 3 organization based in Waterbury Connecticut.
WSO's mission is to improve the quality of life for the people of Northwest Connecticut through
high quality orchestral performances and experiential music education programs involving public
and private schools in the region. WSO’s El Sistema-inspired Bravo Waterbury! program brings
tuition-free music education, performance opportunities, and a critical sense of autonomy to
Waterbury's underserved youth.
Mission
To improve the quality of life for the people of Northwest Connecticut through high quality
orchestral performances and experiential music education programs.

processor, 4GB of memory, Intel HD Graphics 5500 graphics, a touchscreen, and a 128GB
solid-state drive.
Long battery life distinguishes this convertible laptop. The screen folds 360 degrees into tablet,
stand, presentation, or laptop mode. It includes Lenovo's VeriFace facial-recognition software,
as well as Lenovo Motion Control for hand-gesture recognition and dragon Assistant voice-
control software. It's got a smooth feel when you draw quick circles and lines. Auto-rotation
does not work while the device is in laptop mode.
